We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Human Resources Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Objective:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The role caters for all engagements, activities, processes and projects related to the wellbeing of Jumia employees in country of base<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Admin and Compliance:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implements and administrates all HR policies &amp; procedures guiding Jumia companies (onboarding, contracts, internal policies, immigration, leave management, payroll, offboarding);<\/li>\n<li>Ensures admin processes are running smoothly;<\/li>\n<li>Manages compliance to all HR (safety, health, other) and labour topics for all Jumia companies;<\/li>\n<li>Manages the HR &amp; Admin team on a daily basis and in their development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Development:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implements and administrates all HR policies &amp; procedures guiding Jumia companies (recruiting, training, mobility, induction, retention, succession planning, talent management, PPR);<\/li>\n<li>Ensures processes are running smoothly;<\/li>\n<li>Implements and leads our performance management system (objective, performance based and transparent);<\/li>\n<li>Uses data analysis to influence strategic decisions and to address organizational challenges to talent management;<\/li>\n<li>Promotes and coordinates initiatives that support organizational chang<\/li>\n<li>Drives the achievement of HR results by leveraging resources, developing performance standards and results in planning and monitoring;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Work Environment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implements satisfaction\/motivation barometers, measures and acts accordingly;<\/li>\n<li>Suggests appropriate events to strengthen sense of belonging;<\/li>\n<li>Manages employee relations (social bodies, employee satisfaction, health and security);<\/li>\n<li>Manages culture and the office in general (IT, logistics, office initiatives, values dissemination, every-day life).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Coaching and Advice:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Improves the performance of others by empowering a strong leadership and coaching culture;<\/li>\n<li>Works closely with leadership to build, implement and enforce the HR initiatives (policies, programs, processes &#8230;)<\/li>\n<li>Coaches managers to support and roll out people development efforts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Continuous Improvement:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promotes feedback mechanisms for employees to influence the continuous improvement of HR services and processes<\/li>\n<li>Ensures HR practices are aligned with business needs and makes recommendations to HR leadership when changes are appropriate<\/li>\n<li>Provides input to the design and development of company-wide HR initiatives and ensures they are aligned with business needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience and Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>8+ years experience, preferably in a tecnology, Retail, or FMCG environment within the corporate function.<\/li>\n<li>Clear understanding of local labor laws with regards to employee hiring and exit management.<\/li>\n<li>Basic \/ Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning system e.g. Jobvite, PeopleHR or Bamboo will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in people strategy.<\/li>\n<li>People management skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>We Offer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A unique experience in an entrepreneurial, yet structured environment, growing at a very high rate<\/li>\n<li>A unique opportunity of discovering Africa and having strong impact in building the African e-commerce sector<\/li>\n<li>An unparalleled personal and professional growth as our longer-term objective is to train the next generation of leaders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/africainternetgroup.peoplehr.net\/Pages\/JobBoard\/Opening.aspx?v=66f4c587-71d9-499e-8f79-939edb577db9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Not Specified.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jumia is a leading e-commerce platform in Africa.
