We are recruiting to fill the position of:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Construction Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Reports To:<\/strong> Project Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Construction Manager is responsible for providing direction and control during the execution of projects, covering the full project lifecycle from pre-FEED through to EPC ensuring a safe, fit for purpose construction execution strategy model is delivered in line with corporate safety goals and principles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Principal Accountabilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion<\/li>\n<li>Roll out and lead Construction Execution during EPC phase.<\/li>\n<li>He is responsible for all direct construction activities and supervision personnel.<\/li>\n<li>Construction Manager is in charge for the success of the construction phase from the<\/li>\n<li>viewpoint of quality and safety performance and conformity to drawings and specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Participate and collaborate \u2013 on the engineering phase- in all the matters related to construction activities.<\/li>\n<li>To participate during the performance of the engineering project in drawing up the basic planning of the construction activities.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and coordinate interface issues.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate activities of subcontractors, verifying availability of its resources<\/li>\n<li>Participate in development of detailed schedules.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures the correct termination of the construction in accordance with the design specifications and the quality regulations and codes.<\/li>\n<li>Quality Assurance\/Control procedures, work development, programs and budgets, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requisite Qualification and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field<\/li>\n<li>Must have at least 10 years\u2019 proven work experience in Construction Management<\/li>\n<li>Experience working on EPC oil and gas projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Key Competence &amp; Behavioural Expectations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong project management experience<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of all facets of the construction process<\/li>\n<li>Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:careers@montego.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>careers@montego.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>13th October, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Montego Upstream Services Limited is an independent diversified natural resources company which was founded in 2010.
