We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Class Teacher<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Oregun, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Class Teacher will be responsible for preparing and implementing a full educational teaching plan according to the school\u2019s requirements.<\/li>\n<li>He\/she will to help cultivate the pupils\u2019 interest in education and be their dedicated ally in the entire process of learning and development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develops lesson plans which meet established schools\u2019curriculum<\/li>\n<li>Adapts and reassesses lesson plans to meet specific pupil needs, comply with newly implemented guidelines or rules, and to update relevant information and include new developments in education<\/li>\n<li>Manages the diverse ability levels of pupils<\/li>\n<li>Adapts curriculum to fit pupil needs while maintaining overall class progress<\/li>\n<li>Possesses and continually develops working knowledge of school curriculum programmes and frameworks.<\/li>\n<li>Assess and record pupil development, while identifying problem areas and areas which need attention and improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Provides a safe, positive learning environment for pupils<\/li>\n<li>Observe the children keenly to know when they need medical attention.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure children appear neat at all time<\/li>\n<li>Prepare children for presentation for schools\u2019 events<\/li>\n<li>Communicates with any and all other staff members who engage with pupils<\/li>\n<li>Communicates with parents as per school guidelines on a regular basis, including presenting pupil progress reports and informing parents of requisite pupil discipline<\/li>\n<li>Maintains order and discipline among pupils while promoting safety and compliance with school rules and guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Attends occasional continuing education seminars<\/li>\n<li>Attends and takes part in school meetings on curriculum, organisation, and guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Assist in ensuring pick up and drop off goes smooth<\/li>\n<li>Undertake any other duty assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Person Specification:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Education<\/li>\n<li>A PGDE \/ Masters in Education and a background in Montessori education will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certificate will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years work experience in a good school.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience as a class Teacher<\/li>\n<li>Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and instructional skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to act as mediator between children<\/li>\n<li>Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable<\/li>\n<li>Balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:recruitment@rolemodelschool.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recruitment@rolemodelschool.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>2nd December, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Role Model School (RMS) &#8211; We are delighted that you are considering RMS for your child\u2019s education.
