We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Junior Accountant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Ibadan, Oyo<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking to hire a Junior Accountant. This is a role where you will report directly to an Internal Accounting Analyst. In this capacity, you will be responsible for providing the financial results of the company.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Further responsibilities include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bookkeep, prepare, and record journal entries.<\/li>\n<li>Track income and expenses, and be able to prepare detailed revenue and expense reports when necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Complete monthly bank and revenue account reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li>Interface with managers and executives concerning questions and issues.<\/li>\n<li>Support external audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibility.<\/li>\n<li>Daily reconciliation of accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with month-end Reconciliation of accounts (Purchases, sales, inventory, expenses, transfers, payments, deposits).<\/li>\n<li>Work to continuously improve accounting\/finance procedures and internal controls.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Role Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting from an accredited university<\/li>\n<li>1 year+ of working for a consumer finance company, Microfinance Company, or a bank.<\/li>\n<li>Great attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and face interpersonal, communication, and persuasion skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong mathematical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to achieving performance goals.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity and experience using accounting technology programs.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with tax accounting for finance companies in Nigeria, highly required.<\/li>\n<li>Great at time management, multitasking, and prioritizations skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary: <\/strong>N40,000 &#8211; N50,000 monthly.<\/p>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/plucky-coelurus-160.notion.site\/Altara-Credit-Junior-Accountant-5d45bbf764dc4d4f817d6cd081eb4470\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>22nd October, 2021, at 11:59 PM WAT.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At Altara, our mission is simple: to improve the lives of Nigerians.
