We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Associate Consultant &#8211; Accounting and Tax<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Abuja (FCT)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparation of financial statements in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).<\/li>\n<li>Prepare high-quality reports as client engagement deliverables.<\/li>\n<li>Provide accounting advice and support to internal teams on tax engagements.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain strong relationships with new and established clients.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare tax returns, payments, necessary paperwork, and reports.<\/li>\n<li>Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and maintain the company&#8217;s tax database.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations by forwarding required the necessary information to authorities.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate tax regulations and suggest policies that diminish the tax burden.<\/li>\n<li>Keep track of industry trends and changes relating to taxes. Prepare accurate quarterly and annual tax reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc \/ HND Accounting.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years post-graduation\/qualification experience preferably in a consulting firm<\/li>\n<li>ACA\/ACCA \/ACIT qualification is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Self-starter with minimal need for supervision<\/li>\n<li>Robust working knowledge of Nigeria&#8217;s Tax laws is important<\/li>\n<li>Familiarization with IASs\/IFRSs very important<\/li>\n<li>Good team player<\/li>\n<li>Relevant IT skills (working with Accounting Software and Microsoft packages)<\/li>\n<li>The candidate must be male and based in Abuja.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV in PDF format to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:hr@lefortconsulting.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hr@lefortconsulting.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>22nd October, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lefort Consulting Limited is a technology driven professional service provider in the areas of Accounting and Business Solution, Financial Advisory, Human Resource Management, and Audit and Tax Advisory Services.
