They do so irrespective of race, religion, creed or political convictions. We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Finance Assistant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Abakaliki, Ebonyi<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type<\/strong>: Full-time<br \/>\n<strong>Contract Period:<\/strong> Indefinite<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implementing cash management procedures in order to ensure the highest control and security, and ensure cash availability.<\/li>\n<li>Processing the payment to suppliers and keep strict on all documentation involved, informing the administration manager of any sort of disparity<\/li>\n<li>Carrying out all accounting tasks and activities, classifying, preparing and filing of all accounting pieces in accounting software, in order to ensure strict control of all expenditures and the reliability of statements and documentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>MSF Section \/ Context Specific Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Update Social security &amp; Tax office employee files in order to meet legal requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Draw up monthly pay slips for all staff, editing and updating the necessary data in order to ensure the punctuality and accuracy of staff payroll.<\/li>\n<li>Assist the finance manager in the provision of monthly treasury and planning in order to ensure the coverage of daily needs, advances on salaries, payroll, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Process the payment to suppliers and keep strict on all documentation involved, informing the finance manager of any of disparity.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out all accounting tasks and activities in order to ensure strict control of all expenditures and the reliability of statements and documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Classify and prepare all accounting pieces as requested by the finance manager.<\/li>\n<li>File the accounting documents and enter the accounting pieces in the accounting software with the support from the finance manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Required Skills and Qualifications<\/strong><br \/>\nEducation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must possess a First Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or any related field with strong numerical\/analytical background.<\/li>\n<li>ICAN, ACCA, CFA, MSc, MBA certifications will be of added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Essential previous working experience of at least two years in relevant jobs.<\/li>\n<li>Desirable experience in MSF or other NGOs in developing countries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Languages:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>English Language essential<\/li>\n<li>Igbo language desirable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their Application, including Cover Letter, Resume and copy of relevant Certificates and NYSC certificate \/ Exemption Letters to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:Msfocb-Ebonyi-hrmanager@brussels.msf.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Msfocb-Ebonyi-hrmanager@brussels.msf.org<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the email.<br \/>\nAnd<br \/>\nSubmit the Hard Copy to:<br \/>\n<strong>MSF Belgium Human Resources Office,<br \/>\nPlot D33 Liberation Estate (after the Enugu \/ Abakaliki express),<br \/>\nAbakaliki, Ebonyi State.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>27th October, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Important Notice:<\/strong><br \/>\nIn the body of the mail, please indicate the following in the format as seen below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualification(s)<\/li>\n<li>Current location<\/li>\n<li>Languages you speak<\/li>\n<li>Years of relevant experience<\/li>\n<li>NYSC Status.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>MSF is an equal opportunity employer, both men and women are encouraged to apply.<\/li>\n<li>Please note only short-listed candidates will be notified and invited for interview; MSF Belgium takes this opportunity to thank all potential candidates for their application.<\/li>\n<li>The vacancy is open to all residents of Nigeria.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>M\u00e9decins Sans Fronti\u00e8res is a private, international organisation.
