We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Senior Nursing Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Ibadan, Oyo<br \/>\n<strong>Ref: <\/strong>IITA-HR-NRS2021-0023<br \/>\n<span dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Recruitment Type:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">National (<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">3<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">&#8211;<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\">year renewable contract)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span dir=\"ltr\">Duties:<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span dir=\"ltr\">Successful candidate will among other things perform the following duties:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Check vital signs (Temperature, Pulse respiration and blood pressure etc.);<\/li>\n<li>Perform wound dressing on routine and emergency basis;<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate health education to all categories of staff;<\/li>\n<li>Conduct eye lavage, Ear Syringing and giving of injections;<\/li>\n<li>Setting up of intravenous infusion as the needs arises;<\/li>\n<li>Conduct Immunization of mothers and babies;<\/li>\n<li>Conduct simple eye testing using snellen\u2019s chart<\/li>\n<li>Provide consultation for simple clinical cases whenever the needs arise (especially after normal hours);<\/li>\n<li>Register patients\u2019 attendance every day;<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the management of very ill patients;<\/li>\n<li>Assist in updating yellow cards to those who are travelling outside the country;<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the collection of vaccines from State regulatory authorities;<\/li>\n<li>Carry out cleaning, autoclaving and storage of instruments used in nursing care;<\/li>\n<li>Replenish the clinic emergency box and resuscitation trolley as needs arises;<\/li>\n<li>Carryout costing and billing for drugs and other services<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other duties as may be necessitated by the absence of any other member of the health team<\/li>\n<li>Perform other any other job-related task as may be assigned by the Supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Qualification<\/strong><\/span><strong>s:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc in Nursing and Registered Midwife Certificate with any two (2) of the following:\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma in Public\/Occupational Health Nursing<\/li>\n<li>Family Planning Certificate<\/li>\n<li>Accident &amp; Emergency Nursing Diploma<\/li>\n<li>Post Basic Nursing Certificate in Theatre techniques<\/li>\n<li>Post Basic Nursing Certificate in Pediatric Nursing<\/li>\n<li>Diploma in Health Education.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li><strong>Minimum of 5 years relevant working experiences in at least three of the following areas:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Accident and emergency unit<\/li>\n<li>Outpatient department and medical wards<\/li>\n<li>Family Planning Unit \/ Family Health Unit<\/li>\n<li>Maternal &amp;
