This positions us as a significant contributor to the economic development of Nigeria and the African continent. We are recruiting to fill the position of:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0<\/strong><strong>First Officer &#8211; ATR 72-600<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Experience Level:<\/strong> Professional<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The First\u00a0Officer acts as second in command of the\u00a0aircraft\u00a0supporting the Captain of the\u00a0aircraft\u00a0during all normal and abnormal situations so that safety is\u00a0maintained\u00a0at the highest possible level.<\/li>\n<li>The First officer will also set,\u00a0maintain, demonstrate\u00a0high standards\u00a0in all aspects of their position and act as the brand ambassador for Green Africa, so that the corporate image is\u00a0always upheld.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other responsibilities include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain the safe day to day operation of the\u00a0aircraft\u00a0as the second in command.<\/li>\n<li>Set an example to be followed by all crew to preserve the corporate manage of Green Africa.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to by all members of crew.<\/li>\n<li>Notify the company or\u00a0NCAA\u00a0of any breaches in\u00a0SOP\u00a0or safety through the\u00a0appropriate reporting\u00a0medium so that lessons can be learnt by the company to enhance flight safety.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure he\/she is fit to\u00a0always fly\u00a0and notify the company if not.<\/li>\n<li>Operate the\u00a0aircraft\u00a0according to the approved policies and procedures as\u00a0determined\u00a0by Green Africa and the NCAA.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hold an\u00a0NCAA Airline Transport Pilot License (a\u00a0valid\u00a0ATR42\/72\u00a0type rating\u00a0is preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Hold a\u00a0valid\u00a0Class\u00a01 medical\u00a0certificate<\/li>\n<li>Hold English to\u00a0ICAO\u00a0level 4 or\u00a0above<\/li>\n<li>Must have the right to live and work in\u00a0Nigeria<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate excellent problem solving, CRM and team working skills<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate command potential<\/li>\n<li>Must have good knowledge of ATPL subjects<\/li>\n<li>Ability to perform to a high standard when under stress<\/li>\n<li>Must have flown within the last\u00a024 months<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least\u00a01,000 hours\u00a0total flying time<\/li>\n<li>At least\u00a0500 hours\u00a0on modern (EFIS), multi-crew, multi-engine\u00a0transport category\u00a0aircraft<\/li>\n<li>International aviation experience is preferable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent problem solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Collaboration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hire.peoplehum.com\/jobs\/greenafrica\/852a2616-ef81-4dbc-b014-8c6d70b0ea28?source_name=PEOPLEHUM_EXTERNAL\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Not Specified.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Commitment to Excellence:\u00a0<\/strong>Our commitment to cultivating a world-class brand with exceptional customer service and superior safety standards relies on every new talent joining Green Africa Airways to\u00a0identify\u00a0and\u00a0co-opt\u00a0Green Africa Airways\u00a0Safety Management System (SMS), Safety Policy, Security Policy, and People and Culture standards.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Green Africa is a value airline based in Lagos, Nigeria.
