This positions us as a significant contributor to the economic development of Nigeria and the African continent. We are recruiting to fill the position of:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Second Officer &#8211; ATR 72-600<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Experience Level:<\/strong> Professional<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The\u00a0Second\u00a0Officer acts as second in command of the aircraft supporting the Captain of the aircraft during all normal and abnormal situations so that safety is maintained at the highest possible level.<\/li>\n<li>The\u00a0Second\u00a0officer will also set, maintain, demonstrate high standards in all aspects of their position and act as the brand ambassador for Green Africa, so that the corporate image is upheld at all times.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other responsibilities include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain the safe day to day operation of the aircraft as the second in command.<\/li>\n<li>Set an example to be followed by all crew to preserve the corporate manage of Green Africa.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to by all members of crew.<\/li>\n<li>Notify the company or NCAA of any breaches in SOP or safety through the appropriate reporting medium so that lessons can be learnt by the company to enhance flight safety.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure he\/she is fit to fly at all times and notify the company if not.<\/li>\n<li>Operate the aircraft according to the approved policies and procedures as determined by Green Africa and the NCAA.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hold an\u00a0NCAA Commercial Pilot License.<\/li>\n<li>Hold a valid Medical certificate from ICAO.<\/li>\n<li>Hold English proficiency to ICAO level 4 minimum.<\/li>\n<li>Hold or have held valid multi-engine instrument rating: IR (A) ME PBN.<\/li>\n<li>Hold a certificate of satisfactory completion of multi-crew co-operation (MCC) training.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate excellent problem solving, CRM and team working skills.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate command potential.<\/li>\n<li>Must have good knowledge of ATPL subjects.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to perform to a high standard when under stress.<\/li>\n<li>Must have flown within the last 24 months.<\/li>\n<li>Must be a Nigerian.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least\u00a0200 hours total flying time.<\/li>\n<li>Experience on\u00a0modern (EFIS), multi-crew, multi-engine\u00a0transport category\u00a0aircraft\u00a0is desirable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Communication<\/li>\n<li>CRM.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hire.peoplehum.com\/jobs\/greenafrica\/94fc915f-3b1e-4f1b-a778-b9d1384d911c?source_name=PEOPLEHUM_EXTERNAL\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Not Specified.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Commitment to Excellence:\u00a0<\/strong>Our commitment to cultivating a world-class brand with exceptional customer service and superior safety standards relies on every new talent joining Green Africa Airways to\u00a0identify\u00a0and\u00a0co-opt\u00a0Green Africa Airways\u00a0Safety Management System (SMS), Safety Policy, Security Policy, and People and Culture standards.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Green Africa is a value airline based in Lagos, Nigeria.
