APIN is a leading Nigerian organization in the provision of prevention, care and treatment services to patients with HIV\/AIDS, Tuberculosis; Malaria; Reproductive Health; Family Planning; Maternal, Newborn and Child Health, and other non-communicable diseases of public health significance. We are<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Infographics and Communication Specialist<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Ref No:<\/strong> api-62797<br \/>\n<strong>Employment type:<\/strong> Full Time<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> Monitoring Evaluation &amp; Surveillance<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Infographic Officer will be responsible for producing visually appealing content using standard graphics software.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he will create powerpoint slides, Bulletins, graphics, visuals, logos and other infographics and produce newsletters using standard format.<\/li>\n<li>The incumbent will support the entire project with infographic\/design needs. S\/he will report to the Director of Data Science.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop high-quality digital content using appropriate software at short notice.<\/li>\n<li>S\/He will conduct minimal Data analysis (HIV, Monitoring and Evaluation of surveillance) for bulletins and Powerpoint.<\/li>\n<li>Produce infographics and designs using creative, clear outlines<\/li>\n<li>Transform complex data on HIV programs into visuals and graphics for dissemination to different stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Support different departments of the project with designs and infographics, per need<\/li>\n<li>Provide graphics content for use in different output and\/or platforms such as SOPs, publications, and newsletters<\/li>\n<li>Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master&#8217;s in Mathematics, Statistics, Graphic Design, Communication, Mass Communications, Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Architecture, or any related field is required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of 3 years experience designing and disseminating graphics in the development sector, preferably developing bulletins, PowerPoint decks and other data use products In data-intensive infectious disease programs such as HIV programs.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated working experience with at least one of ArcGIS, QGIS, SatScan; and at least two of Illustrator, InDesign, Corel draw, Affinity Designer, and Canva<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Attributes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Great written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Attention to details and proactive<\/li>\n<li>Self-accountability and responsiveness, and accept feedback<\/li>\n<li>Penchant for beautiful designs and layouts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Language:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fluency in English Language (professional level)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apin.org.ng\/vacancies.html?jid=41920-infographics-and-communication-specialist\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>26th November, 2021.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>APIN Public Health Initiatives Limited\/Gte, formerly known as AIDS Prevention Initiative in Nigeria is a non-governmental organization registered with the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
