We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Contract Logistics Project Development Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Ref.:<\/strong> MA-304299<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Full time<br \/>\n<strong>Category:<\/strong> Commercial \/ Sales \/ Business Development<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking for a commercially focused and driven candidate to take up the new and exciting role of Contract Logistics Project Development Manager for Maersk in Lagos.<\/li>\n<li>He\/She will be responsible for developing new contract logistics (Depot and Warehouse) products and expanding footprint to meet customer needs.<\/li>\n<li>The aim of the role is to build a business case, identify new sites, manage project implementation (greenfield or brownfield), and hand over\u00a0operations to the site manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Responsible for Contract Logistics product development:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Based on customer needs and commercial parameters, identify new sites\/facilities to expand warehouse or container depot footprint.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure necessary licenses and permits are in place for the contract logistics development<\/li>\n<li>Manage contract logistics development including building business case, getting approval and managing project implementation.<\/li>\n<li>Manage strategic procurement and vendor relations for contract logistics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Support Depot and WND Product Managers:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to developing depot and warehouse product strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Area pricing process comply with Global governance.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the development of value proposition for new opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Project Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Once the business case is approved, define project scope and objectives<\/li>\n<li>Manage project resources in an effective and efficient manner to meet objectives<\/li>\n<li>Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.<\/li>\n<li>Track project costs, monitor progress and make adjustments as needed to meet the budget.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>We are looking for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of experience in Construction Project Management (Warehouse\/Depot &#8211; Inland Container)<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills and business acumen<\/li>\n<li>Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong product knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work across different cultures and thought processes<\/li>\n<li>Commercial and supply chain knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational and planning skills<\/li>\n<li>Project management skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<p><strong>We Offer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An exciting career opportunity in an international, challenging business setting characterized by high pace and diversity.<\/li>\n<li>You will get to focus on creating valuable relations and work with highly-professional teams in an environment where you will be valued, recognized and well-rewarded.<\/li>\n<li>Moreover, you will expand your business network and enrich your market and product knowledge while contributing to the continued success of the Central West Africa Area.<\/li>\n<li>You will gain substantial general management, people management experience and Senior leadership exposure in this role as you will be a part of the Maersk CWA Area Leadership Team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/jobsearch.maersk.com\/jobposting\/index.html?id=MA-304299\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>31st December, 2021.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Maersk is an integrated container logistics company working to connect and simplify its customer&#8217;s supply chains.
