We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Financial Controller<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Financial Reporting, Planning and Strategy:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure timely and complete financial reportsare prepared.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for developingbenchmarkswith line managersagainst which to measure the performance of the company financial operations.<\/li>\n<li>Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics.<\/li>\n<li>Identify financial objectives, strategies and action plans to improve the Company\u2019s short- and long-term financial performance and position.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with the Sales and Service team in the production of the annual budget and forecasts.<\/li>\n<li>Provide periodic reports that monitor variances from the budget and report significant issues to management.<\/li>\n<li>Provide periodic report on all financial aspects of the Company\u2019s operation.<\/li>\n<li>Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for pricing decisions, and contract negotiations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Treasury Functions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Forecast and monitor cash flow requirement of the Company.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain banking relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Advise management on treasury and working capital related matters.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with Accenture to carryout periodic reconciliation of all bank accounts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Transactional Coordination:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate with Accenture and other team members for all order-to-cash transactions\u2013Ensuring that there is no revenue leakage and all sale are correctly accounted for.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with Accenture and other team members on all procurement-to-pay transactions\u2013 Ensure that all costs are correctly accounted for and provisions made were necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support in financial aspects of HR function such as monthly payroll checking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Compliance and Risk Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understand and mitigate key elements of the company&#8217;s risk profileand provide quarterly riskassessment and control reports.<\/li>\n<li>Serves as the Risk Coordinator and provide all necessary reports as may be required.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry.<\/li>\n<li>Construct and monitor reliable control systems.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements\u2013 Corporate Affairs, Taxation, Data Protection, Export Control and other regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain relationship with all government regulators.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies.<\/li>\n<li>Report risk issues to the management team and Board of Directors.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for Investors relation and co-ordinate allnecessary documentation forchanges to ownership and management of the Company.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure and direct Employees to GEA recognized compliant behaviour where there is deviation.<\/li>\n<li>Provide training and awareness with respects to general compliance, risk management and GEA compliance procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Training and increasing awareness and knowledge related to financial management matters across the organization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates should possess a Master&#8217;s Degree \/ P.hD \/ Bachelor&#8217;s Degree
