Due to expansion, they are currently recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Procurement Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Sango Ota, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p>&gt;<strong>Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Procurement:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To oversee the Group\u2019s procurement activities, identify opportunities to increase value for money,drive efficiency and savings and further mitigate risk, without impacting on quality.<\/li>\n<li>To maintain an effective approach for procurement strategies, and establish recommendations for the procurement of services and potential suppliers.<\/li>\n<li>To undertake reviews of specific spend areas within a best practice framework and identify both the resource needs and process changes required for the on-going management of these procurement activities.<\/li>\n<li>To liaise with current and potential suppliers to negotiate contracts, including the management of tender processes for the awarding of new contracts directly or supporting internal customers.<\/li>\n<li>To further develop the Group\u2019s framework within which procurement activities are conducted.<\/li>\n<li>To design and implement methods to improve procurement data collection and analysis and a reporting framework monitoring the deliverables within each procurement category.<\/li>\n<li>To facilitate greater cross collaboration between business units,in relation to procurement by centralizing spend areas.<\/li>\n<li>To undertake an annual review of the Group\u2019s Sustainable Procurement Policy,and to recommend changes to the policy as relevant to Executive Team and Boards.<\/li>\n<li>To Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues across the Group so as to promote<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain vendors\/suppliers database.<\/li>\n<li>Servicing \/ maintenance of all Group owned fire extinguishers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc \/ BA in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration or relevant field<\/li>\n<li>Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFM) will be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>3 years Proven experience as a procurement manager or relevant position<\/li>\n<li>Well-versed in technical\/engineering operations<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational and leadership skills<\/li>\n<li>Good analytical\/critical thinking<\/li>\n<li>Must reside around Sango Ota.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a style=\"color: #000099;\" href=\"https:\/\/fadacresources.zohorecruit.com\/recruit\/ViewJob.na?digest=N1nn95I8RLzp6NJvjbTifILV66TpyI8STIxLrl1Tcpw-&amp;embedsource=CareerSite\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>30th January, 2022.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fadac Resources and Services Limited &#8211; Our client is a large consumer durable distribution conglomerate with more than 3000+ trade partners across the country.
