Christian Aid<\/strong> is a UK-based international NGO which exists to eradicate poverty around the world. It is currently working in more than 50 countries, and has had a programme in Nigeria since 2003. The Nigeria Country Programme presently focuses on community health and HIV, accountable governance and pro-poor energy. Christian Aid Nigeria is looking to recruit an M & E officer to contribute to the effective management and progress of its country programme towards its strategic goals. This role provides an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic professional who will support CA partnerships and programmes in areas of monitoring and evaluation.<\/p>\n Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer The ideal candidate must possess a degree, preferably in statistics, community health, or the social sciences. S\/he must have at least 3 years NGO working experience. S\/he will need: You will need to be an individual who is meticulous about detail and well organized, who is able to plan, organize and prioritize a demanding workload. \nContract Type: Fixed term contract (5 months with possibility of 2-month extension)
\nSalary: NGN4, 271,273 pa
\nBased: Abuja with frequent travel in country

\n\u2022 Significant experience and knowledge of monitoring and evaluation
\n\u2022 Familiarity with programme cycle management approaches and tools \u2013 including participatory planning
\n\u2022 Good knowledge of official donors such as EU, DFID, USAID etc
\n\u2022 Significant experience of working with small, indigenous partners
\n\u2022 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong IT skills
\n\u2022 Experience of facilitation, training and network and partner capacity building<\/p>\n
