We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Maintenance Technician<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Sagamu, Ogun<br \/>\n<strong>Job type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Success measures of the Job:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performs preventive maintenance &amp; makes repairs on equipment\u2019s according to instructions such as replacing belts on motors, changing filters, bearings, etc<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to maintenance schedules<\/li>\n<li>Reduced machines downtime<\/li>\n<li>Decisions to stop machines<\/li>\n<li>Maintains and makes routine repairs to electrically powered equipment and appliances as per instruction from senior technicians, supervisor and\/or equipment service manuals<\/li>\n<li>Report any abnormality detected to the maintenance supervisor<\/li>\n<li>When machine function is normal<\/li>\n<li>Assists in servicing and replacing major electrical and mechanical fixtures<\/li>\n<li>Working independently or with minimal supervision<\/li>\n<li>Faults identified and rectified<\/li>\n<li>Perform condition-based maintenance on equipment and report any abnormality to the maintenance supervisor<\/li>\n<li>Routine check on equipment and identification of abnormalities<\/li>\n<li>When all abnormalities are identified and corrected<\/li>\n<li>Perform main machine repairs, modifications, or improvement work such as hydraulic systems repair and periodic flashing, periodic repair and inspection of electric units, portable electrical equipment repair &amp; inspection, repair of gear boxes, replacement of bearings etc<\/li>\n<li>Fix issue as they occur and perform periodic inspections<\/li>\n<li>Safety<\/li>\n<li>Ensure proper use of PPE\u2019s<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to procedures<\/li>\n<li>Ensure proper housekeeping in workplace<\/li>\n<li>Zero accidents<\/li>\n<li>Update all the relevant job card, logbooks, as required<\/li>\n<li>Generating the required documents on time<\/li>\n<li>Proper filings<\/li>\n<li>Timely reports<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as required by the position and\/or department supervision<\/li>\n<li>Perform duty as instructed by the supervisor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Engineering or Trade Test I, II, III<\/li>\n<li>Professional qualification in the related field is an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Should have worked as technician for at least 4 years in a busy FMCG environment if a certificate holder or 3 years if a Diploma holder<\/li>\n<li>Two years\u2019 experience as a technician in a busy FMCG environment for a B.Sc or Higher National Diploma holder<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in BIC Factory is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.smartrecruiters.com\/BIC\/743999798781423-maintenance-technician\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Not Specified.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BIC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
