We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Procurement Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Ikoyi, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Procurement Officer will be involved in maximizing project margin, adding value to the construction process by proactive involvement in procurement, cost management and reporting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement new purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplification<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate the best deal for pricing contracts with subcontractors and suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Meet subcontractors and suppliers on-site where necessary<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance to project budgets and provide analysis of deviations<\/li>\n<li>Research new materials for design and cost savings<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all subcontractors and suppliers provide insurance policies for products delivered<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement new purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplification.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least a Second-Class Upper Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Quantity Surveying (Q.S.)\/ Upper Limit High National Diploma in Q.S.<\/li>\n<li>Must be Certified by the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS)<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 7 years\u2019 experience as a Quantity Surveyor\/ Procurement Officer in the Construction industry<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in standard industry software<\/li>\n<li>Preferably fromthe Eastern Part of Nigeria for workplace diversity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their Applications\u00a0to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:careers@ultimusconstruction.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">careers@ultimusconstruction.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>4th February, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ultimus Holdings is a global investment company with the sole purpose of contributing to the sustainable development of African economies.
