We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Account Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<br \/>\n<strong>Industries \/ Sectors:<\/strong>\u00a0FMCG &#8211;\u00a0Manufacturing<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Brief<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking for a detail-oriented Account Officer to assist in our financial department. The responsibilities of an Account Officer include keeping financial records up-to-date, checking for inaccuracies in invoices, and handling queries on general accounts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Import Documentation &amp; work closely with the Clearing Agent at the Port<\/li>\n<li>Coordination with Internal and External Auditors and manage work of all accountants.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing various statutory reports and submission online the VAT and WHT \/ Payee returns to the Statutory Portals within the schedule date.<\/li>\n<li>Review of the Monthly Trial Balance and prepare the Monthly Schedules.<\/li>\n<li>Conversant to the Stock Accounting Process.<\/li>\n<li>Timely and accurate variances analysis of budget against actual and provide roadmap to achieve KPIs.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with Financial Controller &amp; Business Head to enhance Management Reporting and Business Drivers Understanding.<\/li>\n<li>Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.<\/li>\n<li>Secure financial information by completing database backups.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain financial security by following internal controls.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc.
