We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: IT Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Port Harcourt, Rivers<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>IT Support Administration:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide Technical Support to the IT Administrator in the maintenance and administration of computer hardware, software, network, Servers, Applications, and SATCOM devices on the vessels.<\/li>\n<li>Provides technical support and advise as required across vessels and corporate offices.<\/li>\n<li>Adopt a proactive approach and responsibility in providing IT support, advise and one on one training of shore base and vessel staff.<\/li>\n<li>Always respond to IT Support requests in a timely fashion to ensure minimum disruption to work.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and keep a log of all breakdowns and alterations to the network.<\/li>\n<li>Record accurately and prioritise support request and outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in with the designing and maintenance of office intranet and website and ensuring they are populated with current data always.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Hardware Maintenance:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carry out installation, maintenance, upgrade, and repairs of all IT equipment onboard and at shore as assigned.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the configuration, installation of all telephone and communication equipment onboard and at shore as assigned.<\/li>\n<li>Support the automation of key business processes and manage 3rd party applications for optimal performance, making customization for best fit as required.<\/li>\n<li>Perform preventive maintenance duties on items of IT hardware, including the cleaning of equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot technical issues and follow-up with recommendations on best in class solution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>System Support &amp; Network Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide first level support on email, MS office applications and other software related issues onboard and at shore to rectify within a short period.,<\/li>\n<li>Implement a backup plan for disaster recovery.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all licensed softwares are properly configured and running on the latest version<\/li>\n<li>Create and manage employee accounts profile.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates should possess a Bachelor&#8217;s Degree with 3 &#8211; 5 years work experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:careers@tamrose.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">careers@tamrose.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using &#8220;IT Officer&#8221; as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>28th February, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tamrose was founded in 2003 born from the desire to redefine marine logistics standard in Nigeria.
