We are currently recruiting for a Technology Lead.<\/p>\n
The Technology Lead is responsible for translating the organization\u2019s vision into a technical vision resulting in leading technical developments and service delivery. The post holder will possess a proven track record in designing, building and supporting a word class technical infrastructure and applications services in a secure manner with maximum uptime and in line with ITIL principles. Must possess lots of hands-on IT experience.<\/p>\n
The successful candidate will have a solid technical background and will be very technically \u2018on the ball\u2019 with the ability to get \u2018hands-on\u2019 where required, but also able to manage a team of technologists based on robust processes and communicate effectively at senior management levels to explain technical issues. The post holder will be strategically minded, with ability to identify new\/emerging technology options and have robust technical project delivery skills to deliver complex and highly visible technology change projects and would have gained experience ideally across several locations\/geographies and within Emerging Markets operations of the Financial Services sector.<\/p>\n
The successful candidate MUST be skilled in developing trading platforms and solutions.<\/p>\n

The Technology Lead will be expected to have aptitudes, skills, knowledge and experience on the following areas:
\n\u2022Hands-on current and deep expertise in at least two technical disciplines (e.g., networks, OS, software development, hardware, technology quality assurance, telecoms)
\n\u2022Data Centre Management and Support
\n\u2022Ability to interpret technology and market trends as a foundation for technology roadmaps
\n\u2022Technical Programme and Project Management
\n\u2022Business case development
\n\u2022Call centre \/ Technical Helpdesk Service delivery
\n\u2022Strong knowledge of information security principles and application
\n\u2022Financial\/Security Market exposure
\n\u2022Strong governance exposure
\n\u2022Technical Production Support
\n\u2022Developing trading platforms and solutions:<\/p>\n
– B2C eTrading development on various platforms<\/p>\n
– B2B eTrading development on various platforms<\/p>\n
– FIX connectivity<\/p>\n
– Equities, FX and CFD platforms<\/p>\n
– Risk Management
\n\u2022Ability to work with and influence senior executives
\n\u2022Financial management
\n\u2022Quality management
\n\u2022Risk management
\n\u2022Knowledge management
\n\u2022Vendor\/Supplier management
\n\u2022Entrepreneurially minded
\n\u2022Po-activeness in addressing any service \/ quality issues and deviations from plan
\n\u2022Technology Architecture. Experience within Exchanges\/Financial Services sector will be a distinct advantage
\n\u2022Market data services experience will be a distinct advantage.
\n\u2022A minimum of 15 years programme delivery experience.<\/p>\n
