{"id":159,"date":"2009-09-17T18:03:15","date_gmt":"2009-09-17T17:03:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=159"},"modified":"2010-10-17T13:55:07","modified_gmt":"2010-10-17T12:55:07","slug":"senior-structural-engineers-worleyparsons","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/senior-structural-engineers-worleyparsons.html","title":{"rendered":"Senior Structural Engineers: WorleyParsons Jobs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-153\" title=\"worleyparsons\" src=\"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/worleyparsons.gif\" alt=\"worleyparsons\" width=\"220\" height=\"55\" \/>WorleyParsons<\/strong> is currently recruiting for a\u00a0<strong>Senior Structural Engineers <\/strong>to be based in Nigeria<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate should have a relevant tertiary qualification in civil\/structural engineering field; design practices and design quality standards and 5 to 8 years of related work experience, including a Working knowledge of the latest applicable engineering codes and standards, In addition to this, an engineer-in-training (EIT) certificate is preferred.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant tertiary qualification in civil\/structural engineering field.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of the latest applicable engineering codes and standards, design practices and design quality standards.<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with all design documentation and their use and be able to originate and check such documents.<\/li>\n<li>5 to 8 years of related work experience.\u00a0 In addition, an engineer-in-training (EIT) certificate is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in computer engineering software packages like SACS and StaadPro.<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of structural drawing office produced deliverables and familiar with MDR<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in utilizing PC and various Window applications software is required.<\/li>\n<li>Requires communication skills to be able to successfully work in a team environment and communicate effectively with other disciplines.<\/li>\n<li>Must have experience in integration of equipment and over 3 years experience in Transportation Analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Must possess good knowledge of Abacus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Position Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist senior engineers in making design basis for a project<\/li>\n<li>Be able to check the basic engineering calculations\/MTO done by juniors<\/li>\n<li>Be able to produce drawings independently with help of CAD personnel<\/li>\n<li>Be able to interact with other disciplines relevant for the project<\/li>\n<li>Be able to model and run softwares like STAAD, SACS, et.c., for the basic analysis like in-place, piles, et.c.<\/li>\n<li>Be able to interpret properly the analysis result (output) of the software for the basic type of analysis like static and perservices analyses<\/li>\n<li>Prepare site checklist and site visit report independently<\/li>\n<li>Prepare analysis and design report.<\/li>\n<li>The engineer should be able to perform conventional and moderate-complex engineering assignments, applying techniques and analysis within a discipline.<\/li>\n<li>The engineer at this level is proficient in the utilization of standard engineering theories and practices and company procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Some assignments involve CAD applications, willingness to travel or relocate to supplier, clients or construction site is required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WorleyParsons is currently recruiting for a\u00a0Senior Structural Engineers to be based in Nigeria The ideal candidate should have a relevant tertiary qualification in civil\/structural engineering field; design practices and design&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":false,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[16,24],"tags":[143],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
