We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Web Developer \/ E-commerce Guru<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Ikeja, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description:<\/strong><br \/>\nWe require a Web Developer and E-commerce Guru who would be responsible for the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Determine the format and features of the website in order to maximize clarity and ease of navigation for customers.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain appearance of our Website and provide website maintenance and enhancements<\/li>\n<li>Quality-test and troubleshoot the website and\/or its applications in various browsers<\/li>\n<li>Complete extensive QA testing to ensure performance consistently across all platforms<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the web designers to develop and alter the website as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Keep abreast of new developments in the e-marketing world and research the company\u2019s core demographics and how to best reach them, in order to maximize search engine traffic and the effect of the company\u2019s targeted ad buys.<\/li>\n<li>Integrate third party and platform supported apps into our e-commerce site<\/li>\n<li>Ensure consistent and on-brand performance on all major devices\/browsers, including fast load times and bug-free functionality with a focus on mobile optimization and performance<\/li>\n<li>Work with Marketing Director and\/or Executive Management team to identify web systems needs and solutions<\/li>\n<li>Optimize site\/page speed<\/li>\n<li>Optimize technical SEO<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree required<\/li>\n<li>Relevant degree in computer science, MIS, Coding certifications or a related field<\/li>\n<li>At least 2 years of proficiency in developing web applications with HTML, CSS, HTL, and JavaScript<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of e-commerce platforms<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of search engine optimization process<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of W3C web standards\/semantics and ADA accessibility guideline<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of HTML, CSS\/SCSS and JavaScript<\/li>\n<li>UI\/UX Design<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of SEO, Ad words, etc. to optimize web traffic and sales<\/li>\n<li>Additional Qualifications<\/li>\n<li>Expertise in Word press<\/li>\n<li>Google Analytics + E-commerce Conversion Funnel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary: <\/strong>N150,000 &#8211; N250,000 Monthly.<\/p>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:retail.houseofsota@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">retail.houseofsota@gmail.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as subject of the email.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>29th March, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>House of Sota is an Afro Continental brand based in Nigeria and USA.
