Formerly known as Personal Trust Savings and Loans, the Bank was registered in 1993 and operated as a Mortgage Bank until its conversion to a Microfinance Bank in 2014. Personal Trust has a branch network at strategic locations in Lagos State and provides banking services to individuals, micro, Small and medium enterprises (MSME). We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Senior Financial Control Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Mainland, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Senior financial control officer is responsible for reconciliation and settlements activities and will provide revenue assurance to the bank.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure daily reconciliation and posting of all of all transactions and provide daily\/weekly reconciliation and settlement reports<\/li>\n<li>Support the E-business team in resolving settlement and reconciliation matters<\/li>\n<li>Monitor income\/fees and ensure value is promptly transferred to the bank<\/li>\n<li>Verify the incoming and outgoing payment on e-channel accounts<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile bank statement with entries in the bank ledger on a daily\/weekly\/monthly basis and present the reconciliation reports<\/li>\n<li>Prepare daily and weekly report on over\/under-settlement of transactions<\/li>\n<li>Identify, follow up and investigate unreconciled transactions or discrepancies to enable prompt resolutions<\/li>\n<li>Liaising regularly with various bank account officers on issues relating to direct debits, standing orders, unidentified credits and charges from time to time.<\/li>\n<li>Monitors the deduction on loan and facilities with various banks and reconciling with terms and conditions of the offer<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain business relations with payment partners<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the settlement bank and payment processing companies on potential under-settlement and ensure resolution of issues identified in line with the company\u2019s policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Advise the finance team of possible over-settlement for necessary provisions<\/li>\n<li>Maintain reconciliation records<\/li>\n<li>Rendition of monthly returns and processing of associated payments for FIRS, LIRS and PFAs within seven days of deduction<\/li>\n<li>Sending daily dashboard report to management<\/li>\n<li>Provide support to other finance team a required<\/li>\n<li>Support end of day\/month and year process<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility to carry out any other task as requested by Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HND \/ B.Sc \/ in Accounting.<\/li>\n<li>Evidence of completion\/ exemption of\/from NYSC<\/li>\n<li>ICAN or ACCA qualification<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5 &#8211; 7 years work experience.<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in same role in a Microfinance Bank<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience reconciling accounting figures and financial records<\/li>\n<li>Great analytical skills for decision making and problem solving<\/li>\n<li>Strong client relationship management and customer service skills<\/li>\n<li>Team player with the ability to work with multiple parties<\/li>\n<li>Advanced computer software skills, including Microsoft excel<\/li>\n<li>Organization and time management abilities<\/li>\n<li>Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multi task and meet tight deadlines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@personaltrustmfb.com\"><strong>recruitment@personaltrustmfb.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>27th April, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong>Only qualifed Applicants will be contacted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Personal Trust is a Microfinance Bank in Lagos and a subsidiary of First Ally Capital Limited (FACL).
