We are recruiting to fill the position of:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Driver<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Potiskum, Yobe<br \/>\n<strong>Reporting to:<\/strong> Lead Driver<br \/>\n<strong>Proposed start date:<\/strong> May 2022<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Full Time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Action Against Hunger is currently looking to fill the role of Driver who will be responsible\u00a0to ensure health and safety of all personnel on board while providing\u00a0qualitative report on usage of vehicle assigned to user.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drive in a safe way at all times, respecting the country\u2019s circulation rules and following the base\/capital logistician\u2019s planning and instructions;<\/li>\n<li>Follow all Action Against Hunger rules and regulations and vehicle manufacturer\u2019s guidelines when using the vehicle;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all personal documents (ID, driving license) and vehicle documents are valid and kept on board at all time;<\/li>\n<li>Carry out daily checks before starting up the engine;<\/li>\n<li>Check if all required equipment is on board and functioning (communication equipment, tool box, medical kit, fuel, stickers, flags);<\/li>\n<li>Record the car movement in the movement log and get passenger\u2019s signature;<\/li>\n<li>Complete the Fuel Log book accurately on a daily basis with mileage,\u00a0 fuel consumption information and after every maintenance;<\/li>\n<li>Submit all receipts for fuel, airport and parking tickets, etc. in a timely manner to the base\/capital logistician for reconciliation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Position Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First School leaving Certificate or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>A valid and current Nigerian Driver\u2019s License<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in English Language<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience an added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Starting Gross Basic Salary:<\/strong><br \/>\nN183,056 NGN per month (excluding other benefits).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>14th April, 2022.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/acfinternational.applytojob.com\/apply\/X0jFoKYQWu\/Driver\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Our employees enjoy a work culture that promotes diversity and inclusion<\/li>\n<li>Action Against Hunger provides Equal Employment Opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability or genetics.<\/li>\n<li>Other benefits include but not limited to 100% health care coverage, free and direct access to Cross Knowledge e-learning platform.<\/li>\n<li>This is an emergency recruitment and we are looking to fill this role as soon as possible.
