Our client, a Departmental store, is recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Retail Accountant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Abuja (FCT)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The ideal candidate must be proactive<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>and manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Your Mission:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Evaluating daily accounting activities and finding cost-saving methods<\/li>\n<li>Making journal entries in the ledger for accounts debited and credited<\/li>\n<li>Tallying cash in hand at the end of the day\u2019s shift and planning for bank cash deposit<\/li>\n<li>Preparing balance sheet and income and loss statement at the end of the month<\/li>\n<li>Preparing financial statements and informing the Managing Director about the company\u2019s financial status<\/li>\n<li>Handling preparation and filing of tax returns and compliance issues<\/li>\n<li>Compiling, analyzing, and presenting reports on financial information<\/li>\n<li>Making entries of daily business transactions in the book of accounts<\/li>\n<li>Managing accounts payable as per contract terms with vendors and suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Contributing to fixing the budget for the monthly purchase and office expense<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Degree in Accounting or Banking and Finance<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in retail accounting<\/li>\n<li>Excellent numerical skills<\/li>\n<li>Good analytical approach to work<\/li>\n<li>Organizational Skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Computer Knowledge: Microsoft Excel, Retail-Man, and any other accounting software.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Detail Oriented.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Expected Salary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>N100,000 &#8211;
