We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Assistant Operations Accountant (Intern)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Ogonlonto &#8211; Ikorodu, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Internship<br \/>\n<strong>Resumption:<\/strong> Immediate<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to a strong client relationship through positive interactions with client personnel<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with Manager and\/or Director on work status and client issues that arise<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all activities and process undertaken by operations unit conform to set standards pertaining to banking policies<\/li>\n<li>Ensure technical, banking and operation policies are efficiently and appropriately achieved<\/li>\n<li>Manage centralized loan processing and account opening functions to ensure efficiency, quality and control over loan creation and completeness of Know Your Customer (KYC) \/ Anti-Money Laundering (AML) activities<\/li>\n<li>Vault balancing<\/li>\n<li>Central Operations &#8211; Account Services, Clearings, Payments, Cash Management and Reconciliation<\/li>\n<li>Card Operations &#8211; Account Services, Reconciliation of the Bank\u2019s debit card activities<\/li>\n<li>Safeguard customer data and protect against fraud through management of authorization levels and access rights<\/li>\n<li>Treasury Operations &#8211; FI Transaction activity and 3rd Party Funds \/ Investment processing<\/li>\n<li>To establish and maintain appropriate management of treasury liquidity position of the company at every point in time<\/li>\n<li>To ensure that loan account debit position is reduced to the barest minimal for reduced loan interest at the end of the month<\/li>\n<li>To coordinate instant transfers to various company bank account to meet disbursement needs<\/li>\n<li>To perform any other duty assigned by management from time to time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification\/Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>OND qualification<\/li>\n<li>1 &#8211; 3 years experience as an Operations Accountant<\/li>\n<li>Must have working experience in Commercial Bank \/ Micro Finance \/ Lending Institution<\/li>\n<li>Good knowldege of accounting software is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Must be very good in Excel and Data imputation and analysis<\/li>\n<li>Must have a passion to learn and grow.<\/li>\n<li>Must be very good with figures and good knowledge of operatoinal and accounting process<\/li>\n<li>Must live within Job location &#8211; Ikorodu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Competency:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of the Banking\/Micro Finance industry rules and regulations .<\/li>\n<li>High level of Professionalism.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage people.<\/li>\n<li>Organized, meticulous, and confident.<\/li>\n<li>Result Driven Attitude.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent business acumen and financial skills.<\/li>\n<li>Written and Oral Communication.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to details<\/li>\n<li>Conflict resolution skills.<\/li>\n<li>Team work<\/li>\n<li>Data processing skill<\/li>\n<li>Good reporting skill<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multitask<\/li>\n<li>Prompt deliverables and attention to details.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:career@madasfinance.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">career@madasfinance.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>30th May, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Madas Company Limited is a leading Financial and Resource solutions provider, duly registered by the Corporate Affairs Commission to carry out financial management services for clients.
