We are recruiting to fill the position of:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Territory Sales Manager I<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Bayelsa<br \/>\n<strong>Job Code:\u00a0<\/strong>JR000108<br \/>\n<strong>Level:<\/strong> Grade 6<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> Sales \/ Commercial<br \/>\n<strong>Responsible to:<\/strong> Area Sales Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Department Strategic Objective:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead in the delivery of customer and field sales business objectives towards the achievement of the overall organisation business and growth objectives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with the Distributor \/ Distributor sales team to deliver agreed business objectives within assigned territory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsible for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Van Sales Representative \/ Open Market Sales Representative<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to influence, inspire and drive performance without having direct management responsibility for distributor staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Context \/ Scope:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A key contributor to the success of the PZ Cussons commercial strategic plan with an effective and flexible field sales force; demonstrating industry leadership in both volume driving &amp; brand building activity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Accountabilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Achieve agreed business objectives \/ KPIs for the territory (Sell-out, Focus Brands, NPD listing, POP deployment, promotions etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Implement outlet coverage strategy in assigned territory, enlist and keep updated database of relevant outlets.<\/li>\n<li>Achieve sales drivers (Quality, Distribution, Visibility, Price\/promotion) objectives for the territory.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and review the activities of the Secondary Sales Force in assigned territory<\/li>\n<li>Work with Area Sales Manager to develop Joint Business Plan of customers in assigned territory.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and manage execution of all Promotional \/ launch \/ agencies activities in assigned territory.<\/li>\n<li>Lead Market intelligence gathering and competitor activity monitoring and report timely.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Measurement \/ Performance Indicators:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Target vs. Actual monthly \/ yearly performance (sell-out,e, KPIs)<\/li>\n<li>Timely and quality of execution of trade and marketing activities in assigned territory)<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of Territory Coverage Strategy<\/li>\n<li>Achievement of Quality, Distribution, Visibility, Price\/promotion targets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Internal &amp; External Relationships:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Area Sales Manager<\/li>\n<li>Marketing\/Sales\/Channel\/Supply Chain\/Finance\/HR team<\/li>\n<li>Customers<\/li>\n<li>Agencies<\/li>\n<li>PZ Marketing &amp; Sales network<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Experience Needed:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Degree in any discipline<\/li>\n<li>Computer Literacy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experiences: (What experience brings success to this role):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 1 year experience in marketing or sales, and over this period has successfully delivered on KPIs.<\/li>\n<li>Direct experience of PZ Cussons Way of selling capabilities with a focus on Sales Driver execution at the point of purchase (QDVP), Outlet Segmentation and Managing Relationships including structured call, persuasive selling and brand passion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge: (What does the person need to know):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good knowledge of business objectives and priorities.<\/li>\n<li>Experienced driver with valid license<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Field Sales Management and Market Intelligence.<\/li>\n<li>PZ Cussons Leadership competencies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Functional or Technical \/ Business Skills: (What can the holder do):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Commercial Acumen &#8211;
