We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Purchase Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.<\/li>\n<li>Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.<\/li>\n<li>Should have experience working in an FMCG company.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.<\/li>\n<li>Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.<\/li>\n<li>Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.<\/li>\n<li>Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.<\/li>\n<li>Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing procurement reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interested candidates should possess at least a Bachelor&#8217;s Degree \/ HND qualification with a minimum of three years proven work experience in the retail industry<\/li>\n<li>The ideal candidate must have experience in handling a lot of SKU<\/li>\n<li>The ideal candidate must have experience in managing a good number of procurement personnel.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Retail industry is a bonus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:cv@ascentech.com.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cv@ascentech.com.ng<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>10th May, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ascentech Services Limited is a full-fledged Human Resource Solution Provider incorporated in 2013 with its Head Office in Lagos, Nigeria.
