We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Data Analyst<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos, Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> Operations<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are building the data function at Kora and are looking for a Data Analyst to help drive data-informed decisions. An ideal candidate is someone who loves solving business problems with data and is able to tell stories with data.<\/li>\n<li>Being our first data hire, you will take the lead in building out the data function at Kora, which may include building dashboards, ensuring the overall quality of analytics, and constantly striving to enhance data quality, adequateness and granularity. Building and maintaining core data sets and metrics, helping teams design experiments and running in-depth follow-up analyses, and supporting, educating, and providing guidance to teams on their decisions.<\/li>\n<li>As you will serve as a strategic partner for a couple of stakeholders, our ideal Data Analyst is someone who has the ability to understand the stakeholders\u2019 needs and seek out the best solution through different sources. You will also be responsible for the deep analysis of data and then determining the best way to represent it visually to managers and stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>We are looking for someone with an affinity for problem-solving and creating new tools. And is eager to ensure that our ability to store, process, and analyze data keeps up with our customer growth and our ambitions.<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019ll love this role if you\u2019re looking for an opportunity to make an impact and show ownership.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About the Job:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>What you will be expected to do at Kora:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Data Analysis: Determine the necessary data required to solve a wide variety of business problems; extract required data, and draw conclusions and recommendations.<\/li>\n<li>Insights: Share actionable insight after analysis across all the teams at Kora, helping them correctly engage with the data to improve our business and product, creating a seamless customer experience, and making data-informed decisions.<\/li>\n<li>Data Strategy: Shape our BI and data infrastructure. Build self-service tools to enable business users.<\/li>\n<li>Help design, execute and evaluate A\/B tests to improve the user journey and growth.<\/li>\n<li>Determine the optimal tooling to unlock insights from Kora&#8217;s data.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively contribute to, own, create, track OKRs for the Operations team, keeping them accountable throughout the quarter.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with the different teams in Kora to help estimate and measure the impact of our changes on growth as well as identify other levels which can drive volume.<\/li>\n<li>Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Set the direction for the analytics function at Kora and oversee the growth of the team.<\/li>\n<li>Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business processes and decisions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Here\u2019s what we are looking for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You have a background working in similar data-driven roles and 3+ years of experience in analytics.<\/li>\n<li>Strong familiarity with SQL, data visualization tools, and working knowledge of Python or R<\/li>\n<li>Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, etc)<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc).<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019ve successfully set up and run A\/B tests before and have a strong understanding of testing and experimental design.<\/li>\n<li>Storytelling ability with data.<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019re a self-starter who is initiative-driven and comfortable working autonomously<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019ve worked in cross-functional teams involving Product, Engineering, Design and, can manage senior stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Finally, you bring positive energy, are comfortable with change, and can manage your own workload effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with data across different business areas across the entire organization.<\/li>\n<li>Strong track record in results and moving at a pace to meet the company&#8217;s scaling needs.<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability in managing internal and external stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to operate with a sense of urgency while not compromising on quality.<\/li>\n<li>You are exceptionally driven and autonomous.<\/li>\n<li>You are an out-of-the-box thinker and think of new ways to disrupt the status quo.<\/li>\n<li>Finally, you bring positive energy, are comfortable with change, and can manage your own workload effectively.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive Salary<\/li>\n<li>Health Insurance Coverage<\/li>\n<li>Sponsored and Tailored training<\/li>\n<li>Paid Parental Leave<\/li>\n<li>20 Days Leave<\/li>\n<li>Flexible Work Style<\/li>\n<li>Internet Allowance<\/li>\n<li>Annual Performance Bonus and<\/li>\n<li>The opportunity to work with a highly collaborative team-building something great!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/apply.workable.com\/koracareers\/j\/09A6F68638\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Not Specified.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Korapay is a payment infrastructure servicing a wide band of businesses making local and international payments.
