We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Senior Sales Leader &#8211; Commercial Sectors, Licence Business<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong>Job ID:<\/strong> 21000Z8S<br \/>\n<strong>Job:<\/strong> Sales<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Regular Employee Hire<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scope:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Represents and leads the entire Oracle commercial sectors (banking, telco, media etc.)\u00a0 sales team.<\/li>\n<li>Manages the sales operations of the comprehensive Oracle Technology Solutions license business set.<\/li>\n<li>Supports the sales team to develop sales opportunities, build and maintain customer relationships in commercial sectors.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for developing a business strategy and sales plans to address the needs of the commercial sectors with focus on telco and FSI industries in Kenya<\/li>\n<li>Develops and executes appropriate enterprise sales industry value propositions<\/li>\n<li>Leads &amp; manages a team of senior Sales Executives and is responsible for achievement of revenue targets and drives IT transformation in the commercial sectores space<\/li>\n<li>Works across multiple Lines of Businesses collaborating with other Applications, Systems sales teams, Alliances &amp; Channels team, Services teams and others<\/li>\n<li>Works as a member of the Country Leadership Team<\/li>\n<li>Reports to the Country Leader of Nigeria<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Detailed Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall responsibility for the regions sales, third party alliances, and customer satisfaction. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle&#8217;s opportunities across all products and product lines.<\/li>\n<li>Manages and develops a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process. Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale.<\/li>\n<li>Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division.<\/li>\n<li>Builds working relationships with license, consulting and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans. Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue.<\/li>\n<li>Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis. Manages escalation. Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.<\/li>\n<li>Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas or sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities \/ Accountabilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Achieve the revenue target (annually and quarterly)<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of Kenyan commercial business \/ sectors and Oracle\u2019s value propositions<\/li>\n<li>Develop pipeline and continuously mature &amp; qualify opportunities in order to increase Oracle\u2019s market share and to enable achievement of target<\/li>\n<li>Ensures integrity and leads by example<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the progress of key customer transactions in the sales cycle to ensure Oracle&#8217;s business processes and procedures are followed<\/li>\n<li>Ensure use of planning \/ reporting tools in a quality &amp; timely manner<\/li>\n<li>Monitor customers\u2019 satisfaction with Oracle, addressing any issues and promoting reference ability &amp; building effective working relationships with key executives<\/li>\n<li>Manage a sales team, providing direction, leadership and motivation<\/li>\n<li>Set objectives and review the performance of individuals and take action to ensure targets are met &amp; recruit\/induct new team members as required<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and review individuals plans, forecasts and sales activities and ensure corrective action is taken as necessary<\/li>\n<li>Act as an ambassador for Oracle with customers\u2019 executives<\/li>\n<li>Involve Oracle\u2019s executives and specialists from out-of-East Africa, to maximize Oracle\u2019s reach whenever needed.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and exploit marketing activities and campaigns that support achievement of targets.<\/li>\n<li>Engage with relevant Oracle Partners as appropriate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications \/ Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University Degree.<\/li>\n<li>5 -10 years of relevant senior sales team management experience from\u00a0 IT company (preferably software or\u00a0 IT solutions).<\/li>\n<li>Minimum five or more years sales or sales management experience within technology industry.<\/li>\n<li>Strong sales and negotiation skills, ability to influence others<\/li>\n<li>Experience in enterprise IT sales management is mandatory<\/li>\n<li>Proven successful track record on working with top commercial sectors accounts on the Kenyan market.<\/li>\n<li>Strong results orientation<\/li>\n<li>People management experience is mandatory<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills; building\/developing relationships, both internally and externally<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a complex organization; leading or being a member of virtual teams<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and presentation skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to hire and train new sales representatives.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to resolve customer satisfaction issues.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated leadership skills.<\/li>\n<li>Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to present to large and small audiences.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to negotiate price, other concessions and terms and conditions.
