We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Data Center Operations Technician<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Data Center Lekki, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> DC &amp; Capital Projects<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe ideal candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform daily facilities inspections and provide report on conditions affecting the operations.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and supervise non-critical Electro-Mechanical preventive and corrective maintenance activities<\/li>\n<li>Carry out electrical lighting fittings replacement (internal and external perimeter) as operations demands.<\/li>\n<li>Power provisioning for non-collo customers related power request within the DC.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee and support vendors and contractor\u2019s maintenance activities within the DC on all non-critical infrastructures.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out daily routine checks on DG fuel line and ensure day tanks diesel replenishing.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out diesel delivery and ensure all tests conducted meet the requirement\/standard of MainOne.<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshooting and resolution of Plumbing related faults within the facility including the water treatment plant<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshooting and resolution of faults related to the intrusion detection system (Electric fence).<\/li>\n<li>Carry out other assigned tasks within the scope of the job position and ensure closure of such task in record time.<\/li>\n<li>Support any after-hours building needs and activities as required.<\/li>\n<li>Respond to emergencies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications, Skills &amp; Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>National Diploma in Electrical Engineering \/ Mechanical Engineering or in any relevant discipline<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years working experience required<\/li>\n<li>Organize and manage all facility housekeeping (Cleaning of offices and critical environments) through a janitorial service vendor\/domestic support staff.<\/li>\n<li>Implement and ensure proper power cabling tagging and management within the facility.<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of comfort cooling system, installation, and maintenance.<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of plumbing, new installations, and repairs.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge in electrical installations.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge in cable running and termination.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to support and maintain Tier III data center non-critical infrastructure, perimeter lightings, water treatment plant.<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of electrical control circuit wiring and diagrams.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to perform periodic maintenance of comfort cooling, air conditioning unit within the DC.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to carry out daily routine checks on all non-critical electro-mechanical infrastructure within the campus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Demands of the Job:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good attention to details<\/li>\n<li>Cooperative and willing to assist others<\/li>\n<li>Ability to meet deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Ability to deal with problems involving a few variables<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work at height as the job demands.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/career.mainone.net\/vacancies\/view\/274\/7H6VEJ8R\/data-center-operations-technician\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Not Specified.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MainOne Cable is a leading facilitator and preferred provider of innovative telecom services and network solutions such as Connectivity and Data Center Solutions to Telecom operators, Internet Service Providers (ISPs),&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[2846],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>MainOne Cable Available Job Opportunity - Apply Now!
