\n\u2022 Optimize the production servers and connected storage environments.
\n\u2022 Management and maintenance of documentation used in the management and operations of the enterprise storage environment.
\n\u2022 Configuration of storage management to optimize performance, availability, scalability and redundancy where possible within the Company storage architecture.
\n\u2022 Storage replication management<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Minimum of a Bachelor\u2019s Degree or equivalent.
\n\u2022 Minimum of five years\u2019 experience with Midrange Storage Systems.
\n\u2022 Minimum of three years\u2019 experience with High-end Storage Systems.
\n\u2022 Minimum of three years\u2019 experience with SAN switches.
\n\u2022 Certificate in Oracle Sun Solaris systems administrator 10 and above and four years\u2019 experience.
\n\u2022 Minimum of two years of UNIX Systems Administration experience with an in-depth understanding of the OS and its commands.
\n\u2022 Moderate experience in Shell scripting.
\n\u2022 Working Understanding of Solaris Domains, containers and zones.
\n\u2022 Experience with Oracle Sun Clustering and\/or VERITAS storage foundation and VERITAS Clustering.
\n\u2022 ITIL foundation Certification.
\n\u2022 Effective Communication Skills
\n\u2022 Interpersonal and team work skills.
\n\u2022 Sound technical documentation skills.
\n\u2022 Customer focused and open minded.
\n\u2022 High level of commitment, accountability, integrity, assertiveness, innovation, confidence, can-do attitude and attention to detail.<\/p>\n
