We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Accounts Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<br \/>\n<strong>Position Reports to:<\/strong> Accounts Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>J<\/strong><strong>ob Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide support to the accounts unit as it aligns with the organization\u2019s core business of facilities management operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reconciliation of bank statements.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation and maintenance of site service charge schedules.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of financial statements and site budgets.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation and keeping of necessary accounting books.<\/li>\n<li>Price negotiation with vendors for procurement to sites.<\/li>\n<li>Relating with clients and external stakeholders such as tax authorities and financial institutions.<\/li>\n<li>Proper documentation and tracking of transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Processing of payment requests<\/li>\n<li>Preparation and processing of invoices.<\/li>\n<li>Statutory remittance to relevant authorities<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of periodic financial reports.<\/li>\n<li>Carry on other accounting related responsibilities as directed by the Accounts Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years proven experience in a similar role.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of a B.Sc. in Accounting.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in the use of accounting softwares.<\/li>\n<li>ICAN certification.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of IFRS standards and tax policies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skill Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent numeric and data analysis skills.<\/li>\n<li>Good problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication.<\/li>\n<li>Good Interpersonal and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Detail orientation.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office such as excel, words, powerpoint<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in the use of accounting softwares.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to take ownership of tasks and work with minimum supervision.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV and Cover Letter to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:hr@principalfml.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hr@principalfml.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>30th June, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Principal Facilities Management Limited was established in 2005, and has evolved from running maintenance operations to a regional leader delivering facilities management services in Nigeria.
