We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Cook<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Wuse, Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<br \/>\n<strong>Industry:<\/strong> Domestic<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils, like knives, pans, kitchen scales and equipment including mixers, blenders etc.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that all food is of excellent quality and served in a timely manner.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare delicious and tasty English and African traditional meals.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure proper plating of food.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor food stock and place orders.<\/li>\n<li>Check the freshness of food and discard out-of-date items.<\/li>\n<li>Be creative with recipes and suggest new ingredients.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare pastries based on client preferences.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other tasks as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Culinary School Degree \/ Diploma.<\/li>\n<li>At least 4 years of work experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience as a working chef.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced knowledge of the culinary arts.<\/li>\n<li>Gender: Male.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understanding of food safety practices<\/li>\n<li>Good sense of balance in diet and nutrition<\/li>\n<li>Excellent time-management skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n<li>Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipe<\/li>\n<li>Keep a sanitized and orderly environment<\/li>\n<li>Portfolio of creative, unique dishes.<\/li>\n<li>Expert multitasking ability.<\/li>\n<li>Great leadership and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to run stocktaking and place orders for resupply.<\/li>\n<li>Exemplary work ethic in a high-pressure environment.<\/li>\n<li>Passion and pride for delighting people with food.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>N70,000 monthly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:jobs@eclathrconsulting.com.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">jobs@eclathrconsulting.com.ng<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>15th June, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong>Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eclat Human Resources Consulting Limited is a progressive Human Resource Management Firm with its Headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria.
