We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Accounts Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Ibadan, Oyo<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>The Account Officer will:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee all financial transactions and apply principles of accounting in compiling and preparing financial information and reports for the UCH PPP Operations.<\/li>\n<li>The officer will ensure that proper procedures are developed and implemented.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job\u00a0<\/strong><b>Responsibilities:<\/b><br \/>\n<strong>Financial Audit:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare audit schedules and documents for the Year End Audit<\/li>\n<li>Ensure timely posting of all the inflows related to the operations and allocate them against relevant services<\/li>\n<li>Follow up on outstanding payments from all debtors<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring compliance with the financial and Management Accounting guideline and procedure Manual and all internal control approved by the company from time to time.<\/li>\n<li>Reconciliation of intercompany accounts<\/li>\n<li>Documentation of financial transactions by entering account information<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining financial security by following internal control<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for regular reporting of operations \u2013 daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that all department transactions are properly filed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Bank Reconciliations:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reconciliation of all bank accounts<\/li>\n<li>Monitor all cash transactions &#8211; float, bank and petty cash liquidation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Budget Handling \/ Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Management of Annual Financial Control Budget \/ Weekly Cash Budget<\/li>\n<li>Receive petty cash requests from Head Office staff.<\/li>\n<li>Record petty cash payments and reconcile accounts monthly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Result Areas:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Key Result Area 1: &gt;20 financial transactions and credit control functions daily.<\/li>\n<li>Key Result Area 2: &gt;90% daily update of transactions on SAGE software.<\/li>\n<li>Key Result Area 3:100% Preparation of error free financials.<\/li>\n<li>Key Result Area 4: 90% daily resolution of client\u2019s refund.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Indicators:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>KPI 1: 100% effective cash planning, monitoring and control.<\/li>\n<li>KPI 2: Zero error in accounts posting on sage.<\/li>\n<li>KPI 3: Zero error in accounts reconciliation, financial processes and systems.<\/li>\n<li>KPI 4: 100% accuracy in reports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Specifications:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum Qualification of B.Sc. in Accounting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Professional Qualification:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ACA, ICAN or any other related accounting certification will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 3 years\u2019 experience in a similar role<\/li>\n<li>Excellent understanding of Modern accounting techniques and software.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Competencies Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Technical:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Highly numeric\/strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced level spreadsheet skills and PC literacy.<\/li>\n<li>Strong accounting and book-keeping skills.<\/li>\n<li>Confident communication skills and strong report writing skills.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must be able to use SAGE or any accounting software.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to prioritize and manage several different tasks at once.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Behavioral:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Courteous<\/li>\n<li>Teamwork<\/li>\n<li>Persuasive<\/li>\n<li>Dependable<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to forecast and be proactive.<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal relationship.<\/li>\n<li>Goal-oriented, organized team player.<\/li>\n<li>Drive to continually improve processes and seek new challenges.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work well under pressure, working accurately with attention to detail, and meeting deadlines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:careers@ppcng.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">careers@ppcng.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>29th June, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PPC Limited &#8211; At PPC, we turn ideas into solutions and help businesses to create and implement exceptional user experience.
