We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Senior HVAC \/ Chiller Engineer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Victoria Island, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<br \/>\n<strong>Industries\/Sector:<\/strong> Engineering<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Brief:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To provide air-conditioning and mechanical engineering expertise to ensure a safe working environment for our clients occupants within their premises.<\/li>\n<li>Provide air-conditioning and mechanical advice to resolve any work related issues which affect the working conditions of the client\u2019s property. To ensure that all air-conditioning and mechanical systems are working at their optimal capacity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work on independently on any Chiller \/ HVAC cooling system<\/li>\n<li>Develop an in-depth understanding of the AC\/Mechanical infrastructure within your area of operation.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarize yourself with the critical mechanical systems including, main chiller plant, localized split systems, sub-distribution i.e. split units, VRV\u2019s, RAC\u2019s, FCU\u2019s, AHU\u2019s, air extract system, BMS controls and philosophy, water supply system i.e. primary and secondary pumps.<\/li>\n<li>Establish to an educated level the layout of all air-conditioning and mechanical plant rooms and secondary distribution points using schematic layouts and site surveys<\/li>\n<li>Develop a clear understanding of the design and operating principal of all air-conditioning and mechanical related plant and equipment<\/li>\n<li>Develop a clear understanding of the company\u2019s Engineering procedures and processes.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with weekly workload planning schedules with your team supervisor which will include proactive tasks<\/li>\n<li>Perform routine daily, weekly, monthly, yearly air-conditioning and mechanical systems maintenance tasks in line with the planned preventative maintenance schedule.<\/li>\n<li>Respond in a professional and appropriate manner to all air-conditioning, mechanical and associated reactive work requests i.e. fault finding and rectification jobs.<\/li>\n<li>Implement as requested modifications to the air-conditioning and mechanical systems.<\/li>\n<li>Undertake air-conditioning and mechanical system training to develop site specific skills.<\/li>\n<li>Report to your supervisor on a regular basis regarding workload, quality of workmanship and key issues or challenges.<\/li>\n<li>Develop an extensive understanding of the methods of work associated with the air-conditioning and mechanical plant and give advice on enhancing the performance of any equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all works are carried out in line with company HSE policies.<\/li>\n<li>Implement the company\u2019s customer service policy to ensure excellent customer service.<\/li>\n<li>Take ownership and responsibility to rectify all air-conditioning and mechanical associated works to a level that meets the company\u2019s expectation and maintenance philosophy.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate in a professional and timely manner in all dealings with the public, client and internally with the company management and help desk etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Appropriate qualification in air-conditioning \/ mechanical engineering.<\/li>\n<li>3 to 5 years post qualification experience within the maintenance services market sector preferably in a commercial or large residential high rise environment demonstrating: sound knowledge of air-conditioning and mechanical engineering systems, workload planning, customer service satisfaction and quality workmanship<\/li>\n<li>Minimum requirement is to understand and have the ability to communicate in English<\/li>\n<li>Technical expertise in addition to experience in planning of work load.<\/li>\n<li>Ownership and dedication to the goals of the maintenance team<\/li>\n<li>Communication \/ interpersonal skills and customer relationship building skills<\/li>\n<li>Cultural understanding, Motivated and dynamic<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:happiness@ascentech.com.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">happiness@ascentech.com.ng<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>20th June, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ascentech Services Limited is a full-fledged Human Resource Solution Provider incorporated in 2013 with its Head Office in Lagos, Nigeria.
