In October 2013, it was licensed as a State-Wide Microfinance Bank and moved its Head Office to No. 4 Tinubu Street, Central Business District, Marina Lagos. Other branches are located at Mushin, Abattoir in Agege, Surulere. We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Business Development Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\nBusiness Direction, Performance &amp; General Management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grow business and profitability in the Bank through strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, implementation and monitoring.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee all business and financial operations in the Bank, including business development, risk asset creation, loan monitoring and repayments as well as P&amp;L management.<\/li>\n<li>Focus on continued value creation to customers and constantly gauge customers\u2019 experience through their feedbacks.<\/li>\n<li>Provide leadership in driving client acquisition, retention and building healthy loan portfolios whilst also ensuring compliance with the related policies and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Drive advocacy and migration of customers to the digital platform and other automated channels.<\/li>\n<li>Drive increased penetration in public sector lending.<\/li>\n<li>Safeguard fixed assets at the branches and divisions within the Bank and ensure good ambience of the operating environment.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement growth strategies, identify new business opportunities and drive actualization.<\/li>\n<li>Appraise effectiveness of processes and systems in use and recommend changes\/actions or automation initiatives for improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Make recommendation for review and updates into the bank\u2019s credit policies as necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Render timely report to regulatory bodies (CBN, NDIC, etc) when required.<\/li>\n<li>Benchmark productivity of the Bank against industry standards and institute measures to close identified gaps for competitive performance.<\/li>\n<li>Attend Management Credit Committee, Strategic Business Unit (SBU) and Management Meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Attain top ratings in audit of the branches and divisions within the ank.<\/li>\n<li>Issue monthly performance and profitability report on the Bank vis-\u00e0-vis the budgets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Branch Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drive expansion in customer base through opening of new active customer accounts and activation of inactive accounts at branches.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and drive creation of quality risk assets at the branches in line with budgets.<\/li>\n<li>Periodic review of performance of branches along Risk Asset Creation, Loan Repayment and Portfolio At Risk (PAR).<\/li>\n<li>Monitor performance of marketing staff for optimal productivity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Loan Processing (Booking):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure quality evaluation and reviewing of clients\u2019 credit proposals for approval decision whilst also maintaining a good balance between returns and risks.<\/li>\n<li>Proper documentation and booking of loans in line with the credit policy and approved terms and conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborating with branches to achieve budgets on risk assets creation.<\/li>\n<li>Render timely report to regulatory bodies (CBN, NDIC, etc) when required.<\/li>\n<li>Follow up with IT Unit to ensure prompt and accurate monthly update of loans on the Credit Bureau and CRMS portal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Business Development Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide leadership in implementing business development plans to improve mobilization and retention of deposit, achieve set targets and manage withdrawal attrition.<\/li>\n<li>Innovate and develop attractive value-added deposit products together with the Marketing Department to achieve the overall deposit targets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>People Management \/ Leadership:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach by setting clear objectives, establishing priorities as well as monitoring and evaluating their performance.<\/li>\n<li>Build capacity of staff in the Bank through quality training for optimal productivity and mastery of Credit policies, practices, and regulations amongst others.<\/li>\n<li>Entrench practices that promote the bank\u2019s vision and encourage a culture of excellence, high performance and continuous improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure efficient and productive engagement of resources in the Bank.<\/li>\n<li>Create an ecosystem of partnerships and collaboration within the Bank and other functional teams.<\/li>\n<li>Any other task that may be assigned by the Management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates should possess a Bachelor&#8217;s Degree with at least 8 years relevant work experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong><a href=\"mailto:employmentinn@gmail.com\">employmentinn@gmail.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>31st August, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GTI Microfinance Limited was incorporated in August 2007 as a limited liability company and started its operations in 2008 at No. 127 Obafemi Awolowo Road, Ikeja.
