We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Senior Associate<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Ikeja, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Job Holder will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meet with clients and cultivate a strong client \/ counsel relationship.<\/li>\n<li>Understand and interpret capital market rules, codes, and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Proffer advice on project and asset finance transactions as well as capital market transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Draft, review, negotiate and interpret complex commercial agreements in support of a broad spectrum of business initiatives under the supervision of the managing partner.<\/li>\n<li>Actively engage in transactional, joint venture and M&amp;A due diligence reviews, document preparation and negotiations, ensuring compliance with applicable national and international laws and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Proffer legal opinions and draft agreements with minimal supervision, draft and review finance and security documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain an active network of industry contacts, including trade associations, regulators, and public authorities.<\/li>\n<li>Consistently providing thought leadership by writing scholarly legal articles on \u2018hot topics\u2019 in area of expertise and participate in speaking engagements.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for providing legal advice on a wide range of technology related agreements.<\/li>\n<li>Thorough knowledge and experience of technology contracts, and other related agreements.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures billing responsibilities are discharged properly and in a timely manner.<\/li>\n<li>Provide mentorship and supervisory responsibilities to junior associates and work as a team with other senior associates.<\/li>\n<li>Fulfil other responsibilities as delegated or assigned by the Managing Partner\/Partners.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Competencies Required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates should possess a BL \/ LLB \/ JD qualification<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 6+ years of experience with excellent academic credentials.<\/li>\n<li>A level of interpersonal skills sufficient to enable the post holder to establish and maintain credibility and effective working relationships, with senior contacts both internal and external.<\/li>\n<li>Highly focused commercial approach to business in addition to legal flair.<\/li>\n<li>Concise and precise drafting skills.<\/li>\n<li>Good eye for detail and effective time-management.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to remain confident and assured in difficult circumstances, and to possess the resilience and stamina to sustain performance, particularly when under pressure.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to keep abreast of professional, legal, technological, and working practice changes and to impart such knowledge as necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their updated CV with qualifications stated and Cover Letters to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:careers@topeadebayollp.com\"><strong>careers@topeadebayollp.com<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>using the Job Title as the subject of the e-mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>21st July, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tope Adebayo LLP &#8211; We are a full-service law firm located in the heart of Lagos State with a team of multi-talented and dedicated legal professionals grounded in the basic&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[4],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Tope Adebayo LLP Ongoing Job Vacancy - Apply Now!
