Through our team of young skilled and creative professionals, we offer end-to-end services from turnkey building construction to the design and manufacture of cutting-edge home fittings, kitchens, wardrobes, and bespoke furniture. We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Interior Architect<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Maitama, Abuja (FCT)<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties \/ Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Works with clients to determine initial goals and requirements for the space to be designed.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborates with architects, engineers, painters, and builders to further understand how interior space should function, appear, and be furnished.<\/li>\n<li>Analyzes movement and use of patterns of the space.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares sketches or other visual aids to demonstrate preliminary designs to the client.<\/li>\n<li>Consults with the client to select materials, furnishings, and decor.<\/li>\n<li>Uses design applications to prepare and illustrate final plans.<\/li>\n<li>Determines timelines and project costs and presents accurate estimates to clients.<\/li>\n<li>Orders or obtains necessary materials, adhering to project and budget specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Oversees the installation of materials, furniture, and other design elements.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures client satisfaction by visiting the project on completion with the client; resolves any complaints or concerns.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains current knowledge of trends and materials, techniques, and other developments in interior design.<\/li>\n<li>Performs other related duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Interior Design or a related field is required; coursework in computer-aided design (CAD) is highly preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Interior design certification is highly preferred.<\/li>\n<li>At least one year of related experience is required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills \/ Abilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to apply a sense of style to create aesthetically pleasing interiors.<\/li>\n<li>Strong visual design skills including proportion and aesthetics.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to use computer-aided design (CAD) software.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.<\/li>\n<li>Basic understanding of building codes and inspection regulations related to interiors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to distinguish between colors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should forward their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:juliet@nila.ng\">juliet@nila.ng<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>13th July, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nila is a Nigerian incorporated dynamic design and construction company with over 12 years of combined experience in architecture, construction, and interior design.
