We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Contract Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Full time<br \/>\n<strong>Reporting To:<\/strong> Contracts &amp; Corporate Advisory Lead<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This role is responsible for drafting, negotiating, structuring, interpreting, executing, and\/or administering contractual documents and facilitates risk\/benefit analysis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support in drafting and reviewing of all bidding and contract related documents.<\/li>\n<li>Track of all standard documents released by government authorities.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the entire contract management activities starting with bid process management including RFQ, RFP, tender invitation, techno \u2013commercial evaluation, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in commercial negotiation &#8211; After evaluation, the bidders are negotiated for a better price.<\/li>\n<li>Anticipate\/spot legal and business issues in contracts and direct them to the attention of the Contracts &amp; Corporate Advisory Lead and the user department, taking into account the practical business goals of the Company.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise preparation of purchase order once supplier is finalized.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support during contract period, keeps a tab on important parameters and raise alarms in case of any deviations.<\/li>\n<li>Undertake legal verification of contract documents &amp; settlement of dispute.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a deep understanding of contract templates, contracts policy, legal risk and liability, and company position on various matters.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and ensure that the contracts register is up to date.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares contracts for internal review and approval and ensures compliance with company policies as well as applicable laws or regulations<\/li>\n<li>Interprete contracts and advises the company of contractual responsibilities.<\/li>\n<li>Independently handle and negotiate simple agreements, such as confidential disclosure, material transfer and standard service agreements.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee Service Level Agreement Compliance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Business, Law<\/li>\n<li>At least 4 years&#8217; experience in contracts management from a reputable organisation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contract Management<\/li>\n<li>Legal Drafting<\/li>\n<li>Legal Advisory<\/li>\n<li>Stakeholder Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Behavioral Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Communication and Interpersonal Relations<\/li>\n<li>Problem Solving and Decision Making<\/li>\n<li>Managing Resources<\/li>\n<li>Business Focus<\/li>\n<li>Strategic thinking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/104.248.56.38\/position\/view\/273\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>7th August, 2022.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company (IKEDC) &#8211; Buoyed by a mission to redefine customer experience and be the provider of choice wherever energy is consumed, the Ikeja Electric (IE), Nigeria&#8217;s largest&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":10165,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[18],"tags":[2685],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company (IKEDC) Recent Job Recruitment - Apply Now!
