Encore Technologies Limited<\/strong> is a company established to provide viable and affordable enterprise IT services to organization that are looking to deploy small scale or best-in-class enterprise level IT solutions to shape and drive their businesses. We are currently recruiting for an Applications Developer to join us.<\/p>\n

Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Establishing a detailed program specification through discussion with clients;
\nThis role involves writing specifications, designing, building, testing, implementing and sometimes supporting applications using programming languages and development tools;
\nWork as part of a team with other IT professionals, such as software engineers and systems analysts, and write programs according to their specifications. He\/She may also work on generic products for individual clients in providing bespoke solutions;
\nClarifying what actions the program is intended to perform;
\nBreaking down program specification into its simplest elements and translating this logic into a programming language;
\nDevising possible solutions to anticipated problems;
\nHe\/She also maintains and develops programs for use in business. The ideal candidate would need to have in-depth knowledge of at least one computer language.
\nWorking as part of a team, which may be established purely for a particular project, to write a specific section of the program;
\nCombining all elements of the program design and testing it;
\nTesting sample data-sets to check that output from the program works as intended;
\nConducting testing and installing the program into production;
\nReacting to problems and correcting the program as necessary;
\nEvaluating and increasing the program’s effectiveness;
\nAdapting the program to new requirements, as necessary;
\nConducting user acceptance testing to ensure the program can be used easily, quickly and accurately;
\nWriting detailed documentation for the operation of the program by users and computer operators;
\nConsulting manuals, periodicals and technical reports to learn new ways to develop programs and maintain existing skills and knowledge;
\nUpdating, repairing, modifying and developing existing software and generic applications.<\/p>\n

Qualifications and Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

BSc \/ HND in Computer Science \/ Geography \/ Information & Communication Technology \/ Mathematics or any other relevant discipline.
\nAdditional Certification and proficiency in SQL, Java, MS-SQL, Web Application Development, Web Programming, XML Technology, PHP and\/or ASP.Net, Web Designing with CMS, is required.
\n3-5 years experience in a related field.
\nA Master Degree or Membership of relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage.
\nA good working experience in an IT firm or any other organizations with basic responsibilities of Software Development, Mobile Application Development, Web application Development, Database Development and Solution Development.
\nProgramming skills.
\nMobile Computing skills.
\nWeb Application Development skills.
\nCloud Computing skills.
\nOpen Source Technology.
\nORACLE.
\nDreamweaver, Flash.<\/p>\n
