We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Cashier<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Benin City, Edo<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Cashier, shall have the primary responsibility of handling customer purchasing and payments while facilitating a good interaction\/relationship with the customer.<\/li>\n<li>The ideal candidate shall be responsible for processing and receiving payments and issuing receipt.<\/li>\n<li>The cashier will be entrusted with the key responsibilities of complementing the customer shopping experience by evaluating the customer\u2019s purchases, handling the customers\u2019 payments for goods and services while making the process as enjoyable and least stressful as possible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Specific Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist to achieve branch budgeted sales and profit target.<\/li>\n<li>Collecting payments for products either in cash or credit.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain clean and tidy of the checkout stations and other equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales<\/li>\n<li>Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a receipt to every customer<\/li>\n<li>Make deposit of cash received to the bank<\/li>\n<li>Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate record of inventory sent to the station.<\/li>\n<li>Resolving customers\u2019 complaints.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure products presented by customers are properly handled to the satisfaction of the customer.<\/li>\n<li>Cross checking items presented for purchase by customers to see that they are in good condition.<\/li>\n<li>Scanning all the items presented for purchase by the customer.<\/li>\n<li>Have proper knowledge of all companies\u2019 products and prices.<\/li>\n<li>Processing various forms of tender e.g. cash, cheques, debit card, gift vouchers presented by the customer as means of payment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or any relevant field.<\/li>\n<li>3 &#8211; 5 years work experience.<\/li>\n<li>Computer Savvy<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of google suites<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Relationship management skills and openness to feedback<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience as a cashier is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:salpha@salphaenergy.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">salpha@salphaenergy.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title and Location as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Not Specified.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Salpha Energy is a renewable energy company determined to provide affordable solar solutions for everyone.
