We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Legal Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Are you interested in joining our Legal Team? We are offering an exciting opportunity as the Legal Manager.<\/li>\n<li>The Legal Manager will support the Legal department in ensuring that internal stakeholders are given proper and value adding legal support and guidance thereby enabling the smooth execution of the Company\u2019s plans and objectives as well as avoiding\/reducing the risk of potential liability and\/or disruption to the Company\u2019s operations<\/li>\n<li>The Legal Manager is an excellent communicator with appreciable experience in Dispute Resolution\/Litigation in Nigeria and general Corporate and Commercial law practice including contract drafting\/review, Intellectual Property, Real Estate\/Property Law and Employment Law.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review and provide advice to the business on laws, licensing, and contracts required for the operation of the business<\/li>\n<li>Provide support to the external solicitors for the efficient and effective resolution of disputes involving the Company.<\/li>\n<li>Draft, review, and support the negotiation and finalisation of contracts and ensure good contract management.<\/li>\n<li>Manage Dispute Resolution, litigation, and ADR cases, attend Court sittings, maintain a register of cases, and management of external lawyers.<\/li>\n<li>Manage trademark licenses and all intellectual property of the business.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure legal due diligence during land\/property acquisition and draft all real estate legal documents such as Conveyance documents, Leases, etc, maintain a register of all company\u2019s real estate.<\/li>\n<li>Any other related responsibility as may be assigned from time to time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Educational Qualification:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University Degree in Law with a minimum of Second Class (Upper Division) or Second class lower with a Master&#8217;s Degree.<\/li>\n<li>BL: Certificate of Call to the Nigerian Bar.<\/li>\n<li>LL.M and\/or ICSAN and any other related qualification would be an added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Work Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 3 years post-Call-to-Bar experience with a reputable and active law firm with bias for dispute resolution\/litigation and commercial practice.<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of rules of court, contract and commercial law, real estate, intellectual property and general civil and criminal litigation.<\/li>\n<li>Good communication and interpersonal abilities.<\/li>\n<li>An analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Corporate\/Commercial law and practice<\/li>\n<li>Litigation and Intellectual law practice<\/li>\n<li>Strong Business acumen<\/li>\n<li>Legal Research and Interpretation of Statutes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stakeholder Management<\/li>\n<li>Good handling of basic Microsoft Office tools<\/li>\n<li>Analytical<\/li>\n<li>Languages: Fluent English, needed for interaction (reading, written, spoken)<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Leadership skills<\/li>\n<li>Listening skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Why Join Us?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attractive remuneration and benefits.<\/li>\n<li>Paid time off<\/li>\n<li>Employee mental health assistance programme<\/li>\n<li>Medical insurance for employees, spouses and children.<\/li>\n<li>Life insurance<\/li>\n<li>Vehicle insurance<\/li>\n<li>Attractive pension scheme<\/li>\n<li>Grants for car ownership<\/li>\n<li>Flexible work arrangement<\/li>\n<li>Free onsite cr\u00e8che<\/li>\n<li>Recreational facilities e.g. swimming pool, tennis court.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/select.alldayhr.com\/job\/legal-manager-lagos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply online<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\nNot Specified.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nigerian Breweries Plc is proudly the pioneer and largest brewing Company in Nigeria.
