We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Shipping and Logistics Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Victoria Island, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are seeking for a visionary and committed team player for value addition and productivity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Communicate and maintain good rapport with the internal and external customers<\/li>\n<li>Arrange Export shipments with 3PL (3rd Party Logistics) warehouse and forwarder<\/li>\n<li>Prepare shipping documentations like invoice, certificate of origin, etc. and submit documents according to Letter of credit requirement<\/li>\n<li>Prepare shipping instructions to carrier\/shipping companies<\/li>\n<li>Prepare documents to bank, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Embassies, ETC.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor import shipping matters<\/li>\n<li>Monitor shipments&#8217; departure &amp; arrival<\/li>\n<li>Update of KPI on individual shipments and shipment process<\/li>\n<li>Adjust and update lead time on shipment routings<\/li>\n<li>Consistent update on import and clearing process and regulations in Nigeria, in line with approvals and prohibitions, duties and tariffs rates.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure goods are cleared at the port within the lead time to prevent out of stock situation at minimal cost and in line with the contract.<\/li>\n<li>Continually improve and maintain relationship with Customs, NAFDAC, SON, and other Governmental agencies..<\/li>\n<li>Management of 3rd Party Logistics service providers to ensure prompt deliveries of import and export shipments at minimum costs in line with the contractual agreement.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiation of shipping line concession charges on Freight and local charges to drive down cost, where necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with Inter-company trading companies for bulk import &amp; export shipments coordination to ensure correct stock always in plant.<\/li>\n<li>Sound and in-depth knowledge of International trade &#8211; Import &amp; Export practices across major continents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Degree in a relevant field<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years in Import \/ Export role with exposure to supply chain management, strategic sourcing and optimal procurement processes and standards.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of government Import requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Clear understanding of Import duties, taxation, documentation process and government requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Good written and oral communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate effectively\/convincingly at all levels and with all functions at least in English<\/li>\n<li>Effective time management, planning and organization skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with cross-functional teams and build relationships across multiple functions<\/li>\n<li>Excellent negotiation skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:hrprimechinese@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hrprimechinese@gmail.com<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>8th August, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Prime Lagos is a top class chinese restaurant satisfying it customers 24 hours with quality and affordability.
