We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Test Environment Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos, Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong>Category:<\/strong> Information Technology<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Test Environment Manager will be responsible for preventing conflicts and collisions between multiple groups seeking access to limited software resources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop process to track test environments required for QA<\/li>\n<li>Create short-term plans to deliver environments to support sprint-based development<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate activities of release engineers to automate the setup and configuration of test environments<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and guarantee uptime of test environments<\/li>\n<li>Provide ongoing support for test environments<\/li>\n<li>Communicate test environment availability to project management and quality assurance<\/li>\n<li>Develop KPIs to track efficacy of test environment delivery efforts<\/li>\n<li>Resolve conflicts between teams competing for limited testing resources<\/li>\n<li>Move test environment activities toward a goal of 100% automation<\/li>\n<li>Provide estimates for onboarding of new projects to test environments<\/li>\n<li>Design systems to support continuous delivery and adapt test environment management to support on-demand, self-service automation<\/li>\n<li>Forecast environment requirements based on anticipated future demand from multiple application development teams<\/li>\n<li>Act as a technical manager to coordinate test environments for multiple application development groups.<\/li>\n<li>Configure test environments for both isolated subsystems and end-to-end environments using a mixture of cloud-based infrastructure and bare metal systems \u00a0for release automation and configuration management.<\/li>\n<li>Support a continuous release schedule across multiple groups.<\/li>\n<li>Work with project managers, operations professionals, and senior technical engineering managers to sequence projects for testing on a limited number of testing environments.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with release managers and release engineers to track the availability of limited testing resources<\/li>\n<li>Conduct technical tasks such as deployment and database administration by closely collaborating with engineering resources and database specialists.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates will be managing the coordination of efforts to configure environments and tracking the status of environment configuration activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Person Specification:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc Degree in Computer Science, Project Management or related fields<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience as a project manager, Network Engineer or system administrator or QA Engineer.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate with stakeholders: project management, QA, and engineering management<\/li>\n<li>Ability to focus on scheduling accuracy with the ability to keep a constantly shifting test environment calendar up to date<\/li>\n<li>Ability to estimate work effort required to bring test environments to readiness<\/li>\n<li>Communication skills<\/li>\n<li>must have demonstrated the ability to understand modern approaches to deployment automation on both cloud-based infrastructure and bare-metal servers.<\/li>\n<li>Must have an overall grasp of the work-effort involved to setup and configure operating systems, networks, databases, and application servers involved in the creation of end-to-end testing environments.<\/li>\n<li>Must be knowledgeable about Java, .NET, and a number of dynamic languages all running on applications servers integrated with several relational databases running DB2, Oracle, and SQL Server.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated track record of organizing and tracking the progress of multiple projects across the software development lifecycle.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to use project planning and forecasting tools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tezzasolutions.catsone.com\/careers\/23509-General\/jobs\/15631667-Test-Environment-Manager\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\nNot Specified.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tezza Business Solutions Limited is a leading Software Quality Assurance and Testing multinational with a regional office in Lagos, Nigeria.
