Apply Now!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BayOne Consults &#8211; Our client, a youth and woman-led non-profit organization (NGO) focused on positively impacting the lives of people in communities, especially marginalized groups, the vulnerable, and the poor, through socio-economic development interventions, is recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Executive Assistant to the Founder \/ President<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Abuja (FCT)<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Type:<\/strong> Volunteer<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide general support and assistance to the Founder\/Presidentin execution of their work.<\/li>\n<li>Manage Founder&#8217;soffice including communication, information, public relations, board meetings, logistics and appointments.<\/li>\n<li>Assistin preparation of documentation, reports and presentation for meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the Founderscalendar and diary for meetings, appointments, events and other engagements<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the necessary information data base for theoffice and contact database for relevant stakeholders and collaborators.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate travelbooking for air tickets, accommodation etc<\/li>\n<li>Handle all Founder&#8217;srequests and inquiries, when appropriate<\/li>\n<li>Provide Secretarial and Administrative Services to the Board of Trusteeteam.<\/li>\n<li>Manage Email correspondence with expretnal partners.<\/li>\n<li>Manage efficient filing system..<\/li>\n<li>Take and maintain minutes of staff meetings<\/li>\n<li>Respond to routine letters.<\/li>\n<li>Manage office petty cash, and book keeping.<\/li>\n<li>Implementing programs and projects to help organizations meet goals and objectives<\/li>\n<li>Act as Laiason, and inerface with target organizations, agencies and stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Apply project management knowledge regarding development, staffing, budgeting and scheduling<\/li>\n<li>Researching grant proposals and funding opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Developing and writing of effective letters, presentation, andproposals.<\/li>\n<li>Developing relationships with various community, Governmental and other non-profit organizations to raise funds and awareness and build resources.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support to program staff in organizing workshops, trainings and conferences, charity project outreaches.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains positive visibility, good public image, and good public relations for the NGO.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out any other assignments as may be assigned by the Founder\/President.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements \/ Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Business Administration, Management or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>3 years of experience in a similar position<\/li>\n<li>Must have high level of diplomacy and ability to keep confidential information.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and spoken English &#8211; good grammar, spelling<\/li>\n<li>Should exercise high level of interpersonal skills, excellent organisation skills, problem solving, trust, confidentiality<\/li>\n<li>Ability to make decisions, gather, synthesise, and report information, including actionable recommendations<\/li>\n<li>Experience in proactive coordination and the construction and maintenance of multi-stakeholder networks<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record of producing reports and analyses of the highest caliber.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent computing skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Passion for charity and humanitarian work.<\/li>\n<li>Strong work ethic, willingness to learn and ability to work on flexible schedule.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multiple tasks and meet deadlines, must have initiative and be able to work with minimal supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Good analytical, dynamic thinking skills, results oriented and has strong attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational and managerial skills; ability to multi-task.<\/li>\n<li>Good written and oral communication skills and presentation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Possess excellent people skills and ability to motivate to achieve results; good management and supervision skills and result oriented.<\/li>\n<li>Good negotiation and public relations skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent technological orientation and good working knowledge with MS Office suite.<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge in financial management including budgeting.<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to and understanding of the NGO&#8217;svision, mission and values.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Work Incentives:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monthly Allowance of N50,000 &#8211;
