LOCATION: LAGOS<\/p>\n
JOB SUMMARY<\/p>\n
The AutoCAD Draftsman will work directly with the engineering team, and will take directions from the engineers to generate three-dimensional models and drawings using AutoCAD software. In most cases, he will be involved with improving or modifying current specifications. The AutoCAD Draftsman will maintain working knowledge of his industry, and apply industry specific drafting codes and standards, following functional specifications of the designs assigned to him.<\/p>\n
RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
\u2022Prepare 2D & 3D drawings on AutoCAD
\n\u2022Create original drawings from hand sketches, and design specifications from concept to completion
\n\u2022Check drawings created by other design drafters
\n\u2022To produce drawings based on computations and specifications provided by engineers, project managers etc.
\n\u2022Develop detail drawings
\n\u2022Produce drawings and submit to respective Design Engineer \/ Coordinator for review as per schedule
\n\u2022Ensure all drawing data is stored on computer according to the revision status and back up all drawings on a regular basis<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
\u2022Minimum qualification is B.Sc.
\n\u2022Required experience is a minimum of 5years
\n\u2022Ability to design
\n\u2022Conversant with international codes for all Mechanical & Electrical installations as required
\n\u2022Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
\n\u2022Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
\n\u2022Ability to multi-task
\n\u2022Attention to detail
\n\u2022Willingness to travel<\/p>\n
