{"id":167534,"date":"2022-09-13T08:00:57","date_gmt":"2022-09-13T07:00:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=167534"},"modified":"2022-09-13T21:40:42","modified_gmt":"2022-09-13T20:40:42","slug":"ascentech-services-limited-recent-job-recruitment-apply-now-46","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/ascentech-services-limited-recent-job-recruitment-apply-now-46.html","title":{"rendered":"Ascentech Services Limited Recent Job Recruitment &#8211; Apply Now!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ascentech Services Limited &#8211;\u00a0Our client is\u00a0recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Safety Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Ilupeju, Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Our client seeks the services of a HSE Officer to ensure all the workers at the site are working in a safe environment and are following all correct safety procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Assessment and approval of safety plans<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Continuous inspection of project sites, to ensure a hazard-free environment<\/li>\n<li>Verification of tools and equipment to ensure good quality<\/li>\n<li>Promoting safe practices on site<\/li>\n<li>Creating and enforcing safety guidelines and programs<\/li>\n<li>Carrying out drills and exercises on managing emergencies<\/li>\n<li>Conducting investigations on accidents<\/li>\n<li>Verifying that all safety reports are submitted to related government institutions.<\/li>\n<li>Responding to workers\u2019 safety concerns<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with the preparation of a health and safety plan<\/li>\n<li>Establishing and maintaining health and safety communication structures<\/li>\n<li>Continuous monitoring of all safety-related documents, reports, and issues to keep them updated.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct daily environmental and safety audits<\/li>\n<li>Inspect and examine all health and safety-related complaints, workplace accidents, outbreaks of diseases, the spill of hazardous toxins or poison<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>M.Sc \/ B.Sc qualification<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of two years\u2019 experience<\/li>\n<li>Must be NEBOSH certified<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate excellently in both oral and written format<\/li>\n<li>Strong listening skills to be able to get valuable information from employees<\/li>\n<li>Good organizational and record-keeping abilities \u2013 the ability to maintain a good record of all safety-related activities<\/li>\n<li>Profound knowledge of company project work.
