Our goal is to provide our clients with the support they need to grow their businesses by providing them with value -added and convenient services in a friendly atmosphere.\u00a0Senceworld is recruiting <strong>Accounts Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Basic Function:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Maintain the day-to-day accounting services in order to support day-to-day operations and efficient running of the organization in line with overall Company business strategy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Work Performed<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\uf02a Ensure all necessary balance sheets are reconciled and reviewed on a monthly basis<br \/>\n\uf02a Ensure all necessary analysis and information is provided in monthly management report for areas assigned<br \/>\n\uf02a Identify new process improvements<br \/>\n\uf02a Maintain Fixed Assets Register and Work In Progress Balance<br \/>\n\uf02a Analyse depreciation<br \/>\n\uf02a Ensure all mandatory and statutory government taxes are paid in a timely fashion<br \/>\n\uf02a Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software<br \/>\n\uf02a Assemble, compile, and analyze data, and resolve errors\/inconsistencies in data from source systems<br \/>\n\uf02a Advise management by assembling, interpreting and summarizing data, preparing reports, creating presentations of findings, analyses and recommendations<br \/>\n\uf02a Accessing \/pulling Customer data from multiple internal and external sources using different query\/programming\/applications\/languages.<br \/>\n\uf02a Create controls, audits and validations to ensure compliance with existing and new processes.<br \/>\n\uf02a Support various special projects, ad hoc analysis and reporting initiatives<br \/>\n\uf02a Producing different ad-hoc reports summarizing credit and loss performance<br \/>\n\uf02a Balance sheet reconciliation will be necessary to ensure the integrity of the accounts<br \/>\n\uf02a Monthly overhead accounting<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\uf02a Must have at least a Basic 4 year degree &#8211; B.A. \/ B.S.\/H.N.D. in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting.<br \/>\n\uf02a 3 -4 years of accounting experience preferably in the financial\/audit industry<br \/>\n\uf02a Standard software packages: MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint), Quickbooks, PeachTree, Simple Accounting including ability to use email applications.<br \/>\n\uf02a Operating Systems: Windows<br \/>\n\uf02a Strong technical skills, solid understanding for systems.<br \/>\n\uf02a Excellent communication skills; able to translate date into simple business presentations<br \/>\n\uf02a Able to handle multiple priorities<br \/>\n\uf02a Must have good interpersonal skills<br \/>\n\uf02a Stress and Time management skills<br \/>\n\uf02a Able to handle sensitive and confidential information<br \/>\n\uf02a Conceptual analytical and evaluation skills to conduct independent research and analysis.
