We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Junior Accountant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos Mainland, Lagos (On-site)<br \/>\n<strong>Job type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the job:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking for an ambitious Junior Accountant to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks.<\/li>\n<li>You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company\u2019s finances.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing financial statements and reporting are a large part of the junior accountant\u2019s day-to-day work.<\/li>\n<li>The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>The goal is to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department and help the company be fully aware of its financial condition.<\/li>\n<li>This way it can make the right decisions and accomplish long term success.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded<\/li>\n<li>Update accounts receivable and issue invoices<\/li>\n<li>Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned<\/li>\n<li>Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and submit weekly\/monthly reports<\/li>\n<li>Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly\/yearly closings<\/li>\n<li>Assist with other accounting projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements and skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc \/ B.A in Accounting, Finance or relevant field<\/li>\n<li>Qualifications (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) is a plus but not required<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience as a junior accountant<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizing abilities<\/li>\n<li>Great attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. SAP).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/jobs\/view\/3278535173\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\nNot Specified.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Harvesters International Christian Centre is a church based organization whose mission is to change lives and raise leaders.
