We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Work Planning &amp; Progress Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Planning and Progress Manager will be responsible for coordinating the efforts of multiple teams working together to deliver the goals of the company.<\/li>\n<li>They will be tasked with working hand in hand with these teams to break down their goals into actionable plans with clear timelines, and responsibilities.<\/li>\n<li>They will also be responsible for communicating the progress, risks, blockers, and existing opportunities to the leadership team to ensure the timely execution and delivery of the project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop a deep understanding of the organization&#8217;s goals and the role each stakeholder plays in achieving them.<\/li>\n<li>Establish project objectives by working with teams to break down their goals into actionable plans with key activities, timelines, and responsibilities.<\/li>\n<li>Align on key deliverables, milestones and success criterias, resource allocation, and all relevant activities that would ensure successful on-time delivery by the key stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with stakeholders throughout the project to ensure they are aware of project status and any potential issues that may impact the project\u2019s outcome<\/li>\n<li>Conduct vulnerability assessments and Identify risks that could derail the timely achievement of the goals set; escalate these risks to project stakeholders and ensure that they implement mitigative actions.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all company policies during the planning &amp; execution of these projects.<\/li>\n<li>Adequately communicate schedules, priorities, and status to all levels in the company.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor budgets, schedules, and other key performance indicators to ensure that projects are progressing as planned<\/li>\n<li>Prepare a project\u2019s scope statement, including major milestones and tasks, deliverables, and team members involved in the project<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate project results to determine whether goals were achieved and if changes are necessary to improve performance for future projects<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating with other departments or personnel as needed to ensure that projects meet organizational goals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Academic &amp; Professional Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management or other related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>2 &#8211; 3 years of project management experience; preference for technology product and service development initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing and coordinating projects: monitoring, anticipating, and troubleshoots issues, providing ongoing expertise, resolving problems, and providing project effectiveness<\/li>\n<li>Experience in managing delivery teams of various sizes and scopes (may include staff, consultants, and vendors)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills &amp; Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Expert knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into clear, simple, and actionable information<\/li>\n<li>Independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously owns deliverables end to end, and partners with other teams to achieve goals.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to articulately present and debate recommendations with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Other Soft skills require include; Time Management, Problem Solving, Creativity, Critical Thinking, Conflict Resolution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:careers@softcom.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">careers@softcom.ng<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the mail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong><br \/>\n3rd October, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Softcom was established in 2007 with a mission to connect people and businesses with meaningful innovation.
